Chapter 1

-Leo-

After stopping Gaea from rising, we all went to Camp Half-Blood to rest, the remaining Roman demigods from Camp Jupiter decided to move in with us, they built an extension so that all of us can fit in one camp; that included the families from New Rome. It was like having a part of their camp in ours, the arguments between the Romans and the Greeks has been resolved. I'm glad about that, everything had become peaceful for once in my life, my friends are alive, not a single prophecy, (unless you count Rachel predicting what kind of prank the Stoll brothers would do next).

Even though I think life is better now, I confess I'm jealous, Piper and Jason; Percy and Annabeth, Frank and Hazel were all in a relationship, heck, even Tyson and Ella, and I don't get anyone? I thought of the ladies I met during my journey, The huntresses of Artemis, The Amazons, and of course, Calypso. I thought of all of them while walking around the woods, I would never have a chance with the Huntresses or the Amazons, but there was Calypso.

I wanted to save her, she didn't deserve to stay in an island forever, she should see the world and live a new life, but I tried to shrug it off and just move on, seriously, can I even save her? Then again, I nearly forgot that I swore on the River of Styx, gods, how will I ever save her? I cursed and kicked on a pebble that went straight towards a small pond, I went near the pond and stared at my rippled reflection, even though I couldn't see myself clearly, I just wanted to look away. I felt ashamed, I'm basically like my dad, not good with anything alive, but was good with mechanical stuff.

I went deeper into the forest till I saw a cave entrance, I've never seen this area before, I walked inside and made a fireball and then walked further inside. I didn't know what was in here, hopefully not one of the Stoll's pranks. Instead, to my surprise, I saw Annabeth and Percy on a mat obviously making out, they noticed me after a couple of seconds, "L..Leo! W…What the heck are you doing here?!", Percy yelled at me, his eyes were locked on me, along with Annabeth who looked furious.

"Oh, um…I, eh, um…" I stood there speechless and as if my whole body rusted, I couldn't move and then after a while, I spoke, "I…I was just curious, I didn't mean to look at you two." I stuttered and cursed, "Just get out, and promise you won't tell anyone!", Percy said furiously, "I promise! Calm down!", I was nervous and backed up, "You swear on the River of Styx or else!" he kept barking, "I…I swear on the River of Styx!", I ran scared, I didn't want to get angry, because I knew he's capable of so much more than controlling water. When I went back to my cabin, my arm was on fire, so I brushed it off, but still my heart was beating as if it's imitating a marching band's snare drum.
