Author's note:

Hey! So this was an idea I had hope you guys like it. And GAHHH! Today just wasn't my day, first, I lose my french notebook, then, my locker gets jammed, to make it worse, I bend my thumb on P.E class, Oh and did I forgot to mention I had a quiz with riddles that I couldn't solve? So yeah... but back to the story, Just to clarify things, in this version, they are younger, Oogway has passed away, and yeah.. I think you will figure the rest as the story goes on...ENJOY it!

Chapter 1

Tigress was left in the front door of the orphanage, her golden eyes shining and peeking around. The caretakers took her in, a decision most of them regretted. Tigress was not like all of the kids, she had amazing strength, she was smarter than the rest, she held more discipline. But the caretakers didn't want to raise special kids, therefore, they didn't like her.

Tigress grew up like that, unwanted. And throughout the years she was also bullied for being the only tiger, or for not being as feminine or for not being...ordinary.

'ordinary. How would it be to be ordinary, to have parents who love you, to have friends, to be safe?" she always wondered.

And so it went like that for the next 13 years of her life. Now she was 17, about to turn 18, which meant she would be kicked out of the orphanage and set free...to be taunted by life a little more.

But she had something though. Kung Fu.

She loved it...and dare to admit, she was good at it. She never had a master, though she would adore to have one. How she was introduced to it...well, that is a mystery for a lot of people...a story for later. But after that, Kung fu was her escape, she would simply go to the forest and train train train, until she couldn't move anymore. She loved it...and that's how the her story began to form...

It was a normal day at the orphanage, she woke up and took a quick bath. She put on her typical red vest and headed to the courtyard. Her room was the only one on the 4 wing, so she didn't have to worry about waking up anyone.

A lot of the little kids were already playing, some of the just stared at her. She gave them small smiles, trying to show she was nothing to be afraid of. She went to a shaded place by the courtyard and started practicing some basic stances. Then she went to practicing punches and kicks.

"Wow that is impressive...not!" A guy behind her said, then the rest of his group started laughing. Tigress just ignored them and continued training.

"Hey kitty, you should stop, after all, you are a monster, monsters aren't heroes!" Now that ticked her off. She glared at him , and growled.

"Awww, is the kitty mad?" His group laughed.

"Don't you have anything better to do Xiang? Oh wait, you don't since you have no talents" she smirked. She walked away. She started walking to the kitchen, she was just going to grab an apple and then go train some more. Today a guy named Mr. Ping came and he always prepared soup for the orphans... 3 words BEST SOUP EVER! Tigress was about to grab the red fruit, the last one there was, until someone else grabbed it. Xiang saw her and took a bite out of it. Tigress growled at him and without thinking send a punch to his stomach.

"Oops" she still needed to practice on controlling her anger...

She sighed and then went to the village, she rarely went there, most of the time she would send a kid to buy something for her and she would give him or her part of it. But this time she felt like going. She went to the applecart. The goose there smiled at her, Tigress took an apple and was starting to take out her yuans when Xiang and his guys showed up.

"Hey goose, give us your money" the goose was kind of scared, since, who knows how, they had some other bandits on their side. The goose was starting to take out his box full of moneywith shaky hands when Tigress stood in front of him; to be honest, she had no idea what she was doing

"Kitty,step aside, this is not your business" one of the goats beside Xiang (who was a leopard) snarled.

"I don't think so" she punched the guy who was about to grab the goose's box. Xiang and the others saw this, so they started to attack Tigress. Tigress smiled, she had long wished an scenario where she could put her skills to use. She kicked and hit each of them. They were all laying on the floor, groaning.

The villagers had gathered around her and they had all started clapping.

"Here you go" the goose was offering her a bag of yuans, but Tigress denied,

"I'll take one of your apples instead" the goose looked confused that she would only like an apple,but nonetheless, he let her have it. It was all calm Until a snake started attacking her, the feline did well on defending herself, a mantis joined in,now she was fighting against them. She was able to trow them off her, having some distace in between them.

"Who are you, leave him alone!" Someone said on the crowd. The crowd made space for the warriors to step in. A snake, a mantis , a monkey, a crane, and a panda came to the picture. All of them were ready to attack her...except the panda who seemed to be staring at her for no apparent reason.

"Uhh, who might you guys be? "She asked indifferently , no one spoke to her that way,some gasps from the villagers were heard.

"We are the furious four-"

"And the Dragon Warrior!" The panda exclaimed. Tigress widen her eyes,

"You are the Dragon Warrior?! Forgive me" she bowed to him. She had heard of him, he had only gotten chose about a month ago, yet he had already saved the village at least once.

"Furious four" she also bowed down towards them. The warriors were confused. ..she was the enemy, wasn't she? The Apple cart goose came in between them,

"Master Viper, this young lady saved me from those bandits" the masters looked at her. She was good at kung fu, they knew that much.

"Man, did you see her kung fu!?" The panda muttered. The guys nodded, marking that they were also impressed by her skills.

"Who are you?" The snake asked her.

"Excuse me, but why do I need to answer your questions? " she responded.

"And she has some attitude problems" Mantis whispered.

"I heard that. Now, why don't you tell me your names" Tigress said crossing her arms. Somehow she said it in a tone that even them being masters had to obey, she was just someone you wouldn't argue with, someone with that authority.

"I'm Viper, that's Crane, Monkey, Mantis and that's Po" the panda smiled at her with a little bit of blush on his cheeks...the tiger laughed quietly.

Tigress looked at the sky, she had to start heading back if she wanted that soup,

"Nice to meet you, my name is Tigress" she said bowing briefly.

"Where did you train like that?" Po asked her. Tigress smiled at him, only him.

"Taught it and learned it myself" she needed to go now, so she tried to end the conversation as politely as she could.

"I need to go now, sorry" she said,

"You have a curfew? "Mantis asked her. They were surprised someone their age had a curfew,

"I live on an orphanage, so I don't want to miss dinner...Hope to see you again. It was nice meeting you Po" she then ran off.

The villagers started to disperse.

"Wow" po said.

"How come she only said nice to meet you to him and not us?" Monkey asked. They all ignored him,

They started heading back to the Jade palace, but on the way there, they noticed that Po wasn't talking as usual,

"Po, are you feeling sick? " viper asked him.

"I don't know. I feel...weird, like I'm nauseous, but excited at the same time, and I feel like my face is on fire and..." mantis burst out laughing.

"Dude, you have a crush on that girl!"

"Do not!"" He denied.

"Right..." mantis responded sarcastically.

They continued walking up the stairs, but Po couldn't stop thinking about her... he had just met her yet it felt like he already knew her. He sighed, he would give anything to see the tiger again.
