The inspiration came for this story when I was sitting at home, on the computer, you know, just chilling, when I thought, why not try something that would be totally shocking, why not try something that doesn't majorly suck? Why not attempt to create a new villain? Gasp! Not even the geniuses at DC have thought of a good villain for a while (except Slade.) I've been thinking about this for a while, and decided. This is something I really want to do. If you do not like it, then flame me, but at least tell me WHY you don't like it. I hate random flamers, they totally suck and too many good stories have ended because of them.

Prologue: Bone
The sky was grey in Steel city, but not the grey that sometimes clung to Jump city. This was a hard, cold grey: it was unsmiling and intimidating, something that it's resident evil often accredited themselves with being because of the traditional silver that they all wore. It was crisp, and unfathomable. It was a silent pact that all the criminals wear the color, showing that Steel city was tougher than all the rest. The only person that dared break their somewhat sacred law was as all criminals commonly referred to by stragglers as, 'The New Guy', but with a disgusting respect.
His presence was disturbing, and somewhat reminded the terrified citizens of Steel city of the infamous Slade of Jump. Not that he was anything like him, if Slade outlined fear, then he filled it in. Rarely did any live after one confrontation with him. People whispered his name, in fear that he might come behind them and kill them on the spot. None knew his true identity, but he had created his own, and intended to hit the world at full force with his wrath. He simply went by, 'Bone.' Now by any means, Bone was not a nice guy. He rarely did anything nice for anyone. He let no one live unless they served some purpose to him, and people rarely did. Unfortunately, when you DID serve a purpose to him, it did not last very long, so people tended to make it last as long as they could. The titans east, in all of their beginners glory, after taking down one of the greatest criminal masterminds from Jump City were so blown up with pride that they didn't know that people like Bone existed. Well, they were about to be in for a very rude awakening, the dawning of a new era, coming in with the fog on a misty October night.

Wow that was like, the shortest chapter I've ever written! I'm sorry Bone sounds so crappy from my description. I believe that I might take this story the whole 'Judas Contract' direction, with a couple of different twists. What do you think? This is my first fic I've ever even considered writing not featuring Slade. Oh yeah, ALL OTHER CHAPTERS SHALL BE LONG SO SAYS THE ULTIMATE FICCY GOD! This was just kind of to explain my criminal, the next chapter starts with Speedy!
