A/N: Hey guys White here again. On January 27th 2015, it became news that Velvet Sky was released from her TNA contract after the company stupidly let her contract expire. The way she was written off of TNA programming was even worse as she was forced to open Robbie E's Feast Or Fired briefcase she'd gotten for him, so she was fired as a result of the pink slip inside instead of Robbie. This fic corrects such a horrible travesty. Enjoy guys!

Mark LaMonaco or Bully Ray to his legions of Impact Wrestling fans had just finished a little photoshoot for and was on his way to see his steady girlfriend Jamie Szantyr, better known as Velvet Sky. He hadn't seen her in hours and missed her beautiful sight. He had to go see her.

Velvet came running to the back, tears pouring down her face, as her makeup had begun to run. She had just figuratively and literally lost her dream in front of millions as Bully would soon find out..

That was when Ray was greeted by a sight that he had never seen before, Velvet Sky crying. A look of concern washed over his face when he saw his beloved girlfriend running backstage, tears in her eyes. "Baby, baby what's wrong?!" He exclaimed in worry for his sweet girlfriend.

"Oh Marky its horrible..horrible..I can't believe this is happening to me.." Velvet sobbed.

It didn't take Mark long enough to get an idea of what Jamie was talking about. He knew that she was in the feast or fired segment tonight but that was all he knew. "What happened to you baby?"

Trembling, Velvet held up the pink slip that her sleazy on-screen protege/boyfriend Robbie E had forced on her. Velvet had retrieved a case for Robbie, but he turned this on her, saying that since she retrieved the case, she should open it, which held the dreaded pink slip which signaled one's immediate firing from TNA..

Mark's eyes widened in disbelief upon seeing the pink slip. This meant that the love of his life was gone from TNA. "You're shitting me..." He growled softly.

"I got the case for Robbie, but he made me open it.." Velvet sobbed.

"That's bullshit!" The Queens native barked. "He should be fired, not you!" He added, furious.

"I know baby..but there's nothing I can do...I'm finished!" Velvet wailed, taking solace in Mark's arms.

Mark wrapped his strong arms around Velvet's waist, showing compassion for his girlfriend, "No you're not baby. Call HQ down in Nashville, tell Madison and Angie about this so they can vouch for you." He soothed lovingly.

"But sweetheart, I opened the case. Whoever opens it gets the result...why couldn't I have opened the Tag Title case or X Division...why me...why?!" Velvet wailed.

"The briefcase wasn't for you and everybody knows it. You can plead your case to Nashville and you have friends that will speak up for you and you would've made a damn good tag or X Division champ too." Ray replied, his tone calming down just a bit now and replaced with concern and love.

"Come with me baby, I cant face the locker room alone.." Velvet whimpered.

"No problem baby, lead the way." Ray smiled.

Velvet cautiously walked down the halls backstage.

Ray followed his girlfriend steadily, glaring at anybody who dared to get near her at a time like this.

Velvet soon began crying once again, hearing a certain obnoxious voice..

"Awwww you mad Vel?" Robbie asked with a cocky sneer on his face.

"Mark...rip his head off!" Velvet snarled.

"Mark?" Robbie asked before he was slammed and pinned hard against the wall by Bully Ray, Velvet's muscular boyfriend.

"You're gonna pay!" Velvet yelled.

Mark lived up to his name, bullying and pummeling Robbie E with punches to his face and knees to his stomach before pushing him hard to the opposite wall.

Velvet smiled with pride.

Mark continued to pelt Robbie with punches before slamming his head against the wall once before pinning him there by his arms before speaking, "Listen you freaky-haired asswipe! Thanks to you my girlfriend just lost her job but we're gonna fight that, take that to Nashville and the next time you see her she'll still be a Knockout, right baby?"

"You know it sweetie! I love you!" Velvet squealed.

Mark smiled quickly at Velvet before growling in Robbie's face. "Now apologize!" Bully ordered with his right fist clenched, just in case the Jersey native didn't want to co-operate

Velvet smirked, crossing her arms.

"Fine...Velvet...I'm sorry..." Robbie said softly. He really didn't want to give Velvet the satisfaction of apologizing to her.

Velvet slapped him hard for good measure.

"Louder!" Ray growled. "I won't say it again..." He snarled. This time Robbie got the idea and nodded in understanding. "I'm sorry Velvet, I'm sorry!" He whimpered.

"Good, don't screw with us again..bitch." Velvet sneered.

"And if you tell your jacked up airhead friends about this I'll kick their asses too!" Bully Ray growled, referring to the rest of the BroManz.

"Come on baby, let's go sweetie." Velvet smiled sweetly.

"Let's go." Ray nodded and smiled, offering an arm out for his girlfriend to hold.

Velvet happily clung to his right arm.

"I'm sure Angie and Maddie know about this," Ray said. They were Velvet's closest friends. He was sure they knew of her fired state.

Soon enough the two made to The Beautiful People locker room, where Angelina was waiting. Madison hadn't yet been notified but Angelina was filling her in.

"Want me to go in with you baby?" Ray asked

"Yes sweetie." Velvet cooed.

Ray opened the door first like a gentleman so she can enter The Beautiful People locker room first.

Velvet smiled, walking inside.

"We saw everything Jamie..." Angie said with sadness in her tone while she and Madison stood up and ran over to their longtime friend, "We can't believe you're fired!" Madison said.

"I know girls...its not fair.." Velvet whined.

"We have to do something about this!" Maddie said. She wanted her longtime friend to have their job back.

"But how?" Angelina wondered, hugging Velvet tight.

"Talk to one of the administrators in Nashville, let them know what's going on," Ray suggested

"You mean call em?" Velvet asked.

"Yeah." Ray nodded.

"Okay then, let's do it." Velvet smiled.

"Where's your phone?" Madison asked.

"In my bag Maddie." The beautiful blonde replied.

Maddie picked up Velvet's phone from her bag, handing it to her.

Velvet took it, flipping it open and hitting for the TNA execs on her speed dial.

At first, all Velvet heard was some jazz music, a sign that there was somebody there but that she was on hold.

"Come on come on..pick up.." Velvet sighed.

"Hello?" came the southern toned voice of one Dixie Carter.

Velvet figuratively backpedaled. "Dixie?"

"Jamie?" Dixie asked in surprise. "Is that you?" She asked. Bully Ray heard this as well and his eyes widened. He hadn't heard anybody talk about Dixie Carter since he put her through a table months ago.

"It is...what are you doing in Nashville girl?" Velvet laughed.

"I'm working as the President of TNA." Dixie answered. "Ever since I was basically beaten out of television I made myself at home in Nashville now."

"I assume you saw the show then." Velvet growled.

"Yes I did." Dixie answered.

"Then you saw the travesty Robbie E pulled, yes?" Velvet sneered.

"I don't see it as a travesty at all." Dixie said before a smirk appeared on her face. "I see it as justice." She sneered.

"How can you say that?! That's my livelihood Dixie!" Velvet screamed.

"And being on television was a part of mine until your boyfriend powerbombed me through a table!" Dixie yelled back, referring to her fateful beating at the hands of Bully Ray this past August.

"No offense honey, but leave TV time to the actual wrestlers." Velvet smirked.

Dixie almost snapped at that remark until she remembered that she was the one that had the bargaining power here. "That's funny you say that considering how you're not a TNA wrestler anymore." she said, her Texas accent clear as day.

"Because one of your employees illegally forced that case on me!" Velvet screamed.

"Let me talk to her." Ray said, motioning for his girlfriend to give him the phone.

Velvet nodded, giving him the phone.

"Dixie. It's Ray." Bully Ray said. He was ready to talk on Velvet's behalf.

"Hello...Ray." She sneered.

"You've done some petty things since I've known you but you but this is the worst. Velvet has nothin' to do with the problems we had!" Ray barked.

Bully put the phone on speaker. It only felt right that his girlfriend heard this too.

"Look at it this way Dixie. Either you rescind that stupid move or me and Angelina are leaving right along with Velvet! Your choice. You wanna lose 1 Knockout or the entire Beautiful People?!" Madison challenged.

"Don't pull any power plays honey!" Dixie growled at Madison as she continued. "The audience saw that Velvet opened up the briefcase even if it was meant for Robbie. That's the purpose of feast or fired and unfortunately she opened it up so she got fired. Now I'm sorry but I'm not going to spoil the concept of one of my favorite matches by reversing or nullifying a decision." She growled in reply.

"You think we're kidding Dixie?" Angelina growled. "We will leave! Our friendship with Velvet means everything to us! Without us, your Knockouts division is crippled and TNA's one step closer to being dead!" Madison snapped.

"I don't like your arrogance...but I have a way we can make this good for TNA without hurting the crediblity of the match," Dixie suggested.

"Go on.." Velvet drawled.

"I am willing to have Ray and or Angelina fight to try and bring you back Velvet." Dixie explained.

"Hm...very well. I can accept that." Velvet agreed.

"And besides I bet the rest of the BroManz will be ready to fight since I'm sure Ray fought at least one of them for you," Dixie said with a little smirk.

Velvet really wanted to tell Dixie to shut up, but smirked herself. "At least my man knows how to treat his girl, ain't that right baby?" Velvet cooed.

"Damn right baby." Ray smiled at his girlfriend.

"They'll win, you'll see. That all ya got to say?" Velvet asked, oozing confidence.

"Yes." Dixie said, "this little phone call is over."

"Good riddance.." Angelina muttered under her breath as Velvet hung up.

"Glad we got that crap sorted out." Ray said.

"Can't wait to see one of you kick ass for me." Velvet giggled.

"How about we both do it?" Ray suggested with a cool grin

Velvet's reply was a gleeful squeal and to pepper Ray in appreciative kisses.

And that's just what happened. Bully Ray and Angelina did battle with the BroManz. It took a while, weeks in fact and it included various brawls, promos, and matches in between the action but eventually Velvet Sky came back to a heroine's welcome and she had no love left for the BroManz while The Beautiful People were stronger and happier than ever, almost instantly capturing championship gold again. Instead her heart belonged to Bully Ray and the TNA audience and it would take a lot more than some pink slip to make that change.

The End!
