Ikuto sat in his cold dark apartment just staring at the wall, he had been sobbing bitterly over the death of his lover Zero he just couldn't make his tears stop but when he was finally able to it sunk in that he was all alone, Amu and Utau were always out on dates with their boyfriends and Yoru was always out playing with stray cats and even though that never bothered him before it did now. Ikuto sat on the couch for a couple of hours thinking about the incident that took his beloved Zero away from him.
Kaname Kuran had come to kill Zero because he heard from Yuuki that he was close to becoming a level E, Ikuto who was practicing his violin at the time glanced out the window and saw what was about to happen, he character changed and rushed out of his and Zeros apartment to help his lover but when he got there he was to late Kaname had already killed Zero. Just as he was walking away Kaname turned around and looked at Ikuto " I don't know why your crying, I just did you a huge favor by getting rid of that monster." Kaname said to him coldly.
After a while someone knocked on the door he didn't want to answer it but did anyway thinking it might be Amu or Utau but to his surprise it was Zero. Ikuto stood there shocked "Z-zero!, is that really you?" the cat boy asked completely amazed. Zero smiled and replied "Yeah it's me." Tears started streaming down the cat boys face as he jumped into his dead lovers arms. Zero took Ikutos face in his hands and kissed him lightly on the lips and whispered "Goodbye Ikuto, I love you." And then he disappeared. Ikuto stood there shocked by what had just happened when he finally came back to his senses he smiled and said "I love you too."
