Twilight and Heroes Crossover

Pairing: Bella/Peter

Author's Note: Hi guys so I hope you're as excited about this story as I am, been meaning to do a Heroes crossover for a while now but never got round to it. This take's place at the beginning of Heroes season 1, no vamps in this sorry but we will still see our Twilight characters here and there. I do not own Heroes or Twilight.

Chapter 1

New York City

It was real, he knew it was real. He wasn't about to let this go for anything, not even for his stubborn ass of a brother. For a couple of month now Peter had been experiencing a mind blowing dream where he witnessed himself standing on a rooftop looking up to the skies above before jumping off the edge, only he found himself not falling but flying.

Yes flying!

At first Peter thought it to be just some strange fantasy and expected it to just blow over, but after being revisited by the exact same dream again and again Peter knew without a doubt that there was more to it than meets the eye. His whole life he'd felt that there was something different about him, not in a personality sort of way but in a way that he felt as though he himself stood out amongst the human race.

So after some time of coming to terms with himself that he wasn't going insane and that his dreams weren't just coincidence Peter set himself a new goal in life. One to make sense of his dream and two to define all logic by becoming humanity's first superman. So to speak.

He was at this moment on his way to see his brother whom he hoped was in a good mood today because Peter could not be bothered hearing another one of Nathan's inconsiderable egotistical rants about his so called career. You see Nathan being the eldest son to the Petrelli line had taken it upon himself to push his fathers legacy to the next level by running for congress.

Of course Peter and his mother (Angela Petrelli) were more than proud of Nathan for taking such a leap and wished him all the luck in the world, but sometimes Peter worried just how much his brother had changed since choosing his path. He felt as though he was loosing his best friend in Nathan and that the man had gone from being his most beloved brother in the world to a selfish self absorbed asshole who was more interested in his reputation than giving a damn about his family.

Since their father (Arthur Petrelli) had passed away six months ago Nathan had more or less withdrawn from his home life, given that he was the closest to Arthur out of himself and Peter. It was no secret that Peter and his father never got along that well because though Arthur had wanted his youngest to follow in his profession Peter had his own dreams to live, he'd gone to university and gotten a job as a hospice nurse after getting his degree in nursing. Though his father was displeased with the path he'd chosen Peter didn't care less, he knew what he wanted in life and molding in his father's image was not it.

Back to the present though Peter had just entered Petrelli enterprise and saw his brother talking on the phone when he looked up to see Peter approaching.

"Mr Linderman I'm gonna have to call you back in a couple of minutes. Okay thank you, bye" Nathan said hanging up the phone.

Just before Peter could get a word in edgewise Nathan quickly cut him off.

"I'm late I've got a fundraiser and a meeting with the councilors" Nathan said gathering up a bunch of papers.

'Its nice to see you too' Peter sarcastically thought to himsef.

"Its happening again" Peter said.

"What's happening again?" Nathan asked not looking up.

"The dreams" Peter said before hearing his brother sigh in annoyance, "listen to me I know it sounds crazy but when it happens I sometimes see myself falling or other times I'm flying. But there's also been a couple of times when your in them too" he said.

"I don't have time for this" Nathan said in frustration before grabbing his brief case and coat brushing past his brother.

This was exactly what pissed Peter off, his own brother was once again laying him off not taking the slightest bit interest in what he had to say.

"Nathan these aren't just dreams I'm having, I thought they'd go away but they didn't" Peter said following after his brother. "This morning I was sure I was hovering three feet off the ground, just for a split second I was floating. I'm telling you Nathan I think I can fly" he said.

Just then Nathan spun round to face him with a look of embarrassment plastered on his face.

"Will you keep your voice down and try to remember where we are right now" Nathan hissed at him.

"Well I wouldn't have to be raising my voice if you'd just stop and listen to me for a minute" Peter spoke in irritation.

"I'll tell you what if you can fly why don't you go jump off Brooklyn bridge and see what happens" Nathan sarcastically said resuming to walk out the door.

Peter rolling his eyes at his brother's comment just continued to follow after him.

"Maybe I should start out with something small first, kind of like learning to walk before running" Peter said.

"Pete as your older and much wiser brother I'm telling you to let this go, please. Go see a doctor, a psychiatrist or something and get your head fixed. I'm eight points down in the poll and I not need you pulling a Rodger Clinton on me" Nathan said trying to authorize his brother.

Having had enough Peter grabbing his brothers shoulder brought him to an immediate halt and spun him back to face him.

"God damn it Nathan just forget about the stupid politics for one second okay! This isn't about you, something is happening to me and I just feel like your the only person I can turn to who will understand" Peter furiously spoke.

"Why in the hell would I understand that you think you can fly?" Nathan burst out.

"Because your my brother, and I need you" Peter said much softly this time.

Just then Nathan's phone rang in his pocket and as he pulled it out he saw the caller I.D was his mother before flipping his cell open.

"Ma I can't talk..." Nathan began but suddenly trailed off.

"What?" Peter worriedly asked noticing the surprised look on his brother's face.

"I'll be there in ten minutes" Nathan said before hanging up the phone.

"What's going on?" Peter asked.

"Ma's been arrested" Nathan said.

"Arrested for what?" Peter asked in shock.

"Shoplifting" Nathan spoke with annoyance before the two went to his car to drive down to the police station.

But just as Peter got into the passenger side he suddenly felt as though he were being watched and as he glanced outside the window he swore saw a set of blue eyes staring straight at him from the crowded street, but as quick as he saw them they soon disappeared from sight as the car started moving.

'Weird' Peter thought to himself.

At that exact time Claire Bennet had just arrived on scene of a burning wreckage. Apparently a train had derailed from its tracks and crashed straight into a farmyard. The entire scene was an utter disaster as firemen struggled against the blaze trying their best to put it out.

That's when one of the firemen yelled that there was someone trapped in the barn, but unfortunately nobody could get past the furious flames. That's when Claire made a swift decision.

"Keep the camera on me" said Claire to her friend Zach who was stood beside her.

"Why? What are you gonna do?" Zach asked her in confusion.

But instead of answering him Claire simply ran toward the burning inferno disappearing into the cloud of smoke. Ensuring that none saw her Claire managed to slip past the firemen and raced into the barn where she spotted a middle aged man through the flames trapped under some debris. Quickly going over to him Claire wasted no time in shifting the debris off the bleeding man, but as she struggled to push a heavy wooden post off him the flames around them began to worsen.

"Damn it" Claire growled through her teeth as she pushed against the wood with all her might, but for the love of her it wasn't budging.

She had to get the man out, she just had to.

But just then as if her prayers had been answered she saw the wooden post go flying across the barn and Claire suddenly froze with astonishment.

'Was that really me?' she mentally asked herself.

Suddenly out of nowhere a hooded figure appeared bending down beside her and the injured man taking both their hands.

"Who are..." Claire started but before she could finish her sentence she suddenly found herself not in a barn full of flames anymore but outside with the man and mystery individual beside her. "Wait, how did you..." but again before Claire could ask she was cut short as she looked up to see that the mystery figure had astonishingly disappeared from sight.

As she saw a group of firemen running toward her Claire glanced round the place hoping she might catch a glimpse of the hooded hero, but to her disappointment they were nowhere to be seen.

She didn't acknowledge the fact that one of the firemen was talking to her because honestly Claire was too busy trying to make sense of the situation. She yearned to know the identity of the hooded individual and find out exactly how they had managed to get her and the man out the barn without so much as lifting a finger.

Niki Sanders had never regretted anything in her life, but right now she regretted ever laying eyes on Daniel Linderman. The son of a bitch had done nothing but make her life a misery ever since she'd borrowed a loan from him in order to enroll her son into school.

Micah was without a doubt a the smartest child to ever be blessed with who deserved to have the finest education going, but with the school asking for a large amount of fee's and her husband in jail Niki was strapped for cash. Although she made ends meat with her online stripper career it just wasn't enough.

But unwilling to give up she'd made a deal with the devil for the sake of her sons future, which had now come back to bite her in the ass. Because she hadn't paid the man back his money Linderman being the asshole he was had sent his men after her, whether to lynch or kill her Niki had no idea.

So here she was trapped in her room with nowhere to go as the two perverts asked her to perform for her life whilst they filmed her.

"Come on baby do it" said the tall guy who was holding the camera.

Niki kneeling on the bed failed to do as she was told at first, which earned her a good slap across the face causing her head to snap sideways.

"Do it!" the man in the leather jacket shouted.

Not having any other option at this point Niki went along with it and began slowly taking off her cardigan before raising her top up.

"That's it, all the way" the man in leather smirked.

Once the shirt was half way up her chest she then moved her hand to her jeans.

"Come on, show me what you got" the man said.

But just then as Niki was about to unbutton her jeans her eyes widened as she saw a girl with long wavy midnight hair materialize right behind the two men.

"What's the matter baby? We were just getting to the good part" the man in leather complained.

The mystery girl then raised a finger over her lips, which Niki slightly nodded to being careful not to give anything away.

The man in leather then stood up from his seating place and got in Niki's face.

"Hey bitch I said what's wrong with you? When I ask a question you answer" the man half shouted before yet again giving Niki another hard slap across the face.

"Screw you" Niki bit back at the man watching as the mystery girl quietly picked up a golf club from beside the chest of draws.

"Screw me?" the man asked.

"Yeah, screw you" spoke the girl and just before the man in leather had time to react the girl had swung the golf club to crack the guy across the head causing him to go flying across the room straight into a wardrobe with a loud crash.

The tall man pulling out a gun was then about to go for the girl when Niki at that point grabbed the camera tripod and struck it into the mans spine whilst he wasn't looking causing the mobster to fall to the ground in agony.

"Get back to your son, I'll handle these morons" said the girl to Niki whom was still in a state of shock.

"Who are you?" Niki asked her wondering how she knew about Micah.

"A friend to help, now go" the girl instructed again.

This time Niki did as she was told and quickly scrabbled off the bed and dodged out the door not stopping until she reached her car. As soon as she got in the drivers side she got the key into the ignition and floored it down the road the whole time silently thanking her mystery saviour for giving her the chance to see her little boy again, but also questioning who the girl was and how on earth she had appeared from out of thin air.

New York City

Peter and Simone had just arrived at Isaac Mendez's studio, Simone had called Peter and explained to him how her boyfriend was a druggie and that he'd managed to break the habit for a while but was now back on the gear and was not at all in great shape. She had gone to see Isaac before and to say he was acting out the ordinary was an understatement, Simone was physically and emotionally frightened for her boyfriend and worried that he was going to do something stupid.

"Isaac!" Simone shouted through the darkness of the studio.

She tried switching the lights on, but unsuccessfully they weren't working.

"You sure he's in here?" Peter asked her.

"He wouldn't leave" Simone assured him.

Just then as Peter pulled out a flashlight the two came to a stop as they spotted Isaac laid on a double bed in another lower level of the room with a hooded figure bent over him.

"Hey!" Simone shouted at whomever was standing over her boyfriend, "get away from him!" she shouted running into the room to drag the person away with Peter hot on her heels.

"Simone stop!" shouted a voice startling both Simone and Peter as they saw a now wide awake Isaac leaning on one arm as he held his other hand up to them. "Stop, its okay. She's a friend" Isaac told them.

The two new comers stared at the hooded girl whom still had her back to them as she sat beside Isaac on the bed.

"Are you okay?" Simone asked her boyfriend going round to his other side to hug him.

"Yeah I'm fine now, I'm so sorry about before. I didn't mean to snap like that" Isaac said pressing a kiss against Simone's neck.

"It's okay, your alright that's all that matters" Simone said drawing back to kiss Isaac who responded without hesitance as the two locked in a passionate embrace.

Peter shifted awkwardly at this moving his vision to the floor before he found his attention being drawn back to the hooded girl. He was sure for a split second he caught her checking him out from the corner of his eye, but it was probably just his mind playing tricks on him.

"I should go" he heard the girl murmur as she got up from the bed.

"Wait B" called Isaac who just then broke away from Simone to stop the girl in her tracks. "Thank you, thanks for saving my life. You didn't have to do that" he softly said to her.

"Anytime, take care of yourself Isaac" spoke the girl in the same tone of voice.

Just as she went to leave her fingers gently brushed Peter's hand.

"If you can hear me, no rooftops. You're not ready yet"

Peter looked to the hooded girl in shock as she walked past him. Had he really just heard her voice in his head? It was hard to tell because with it being so dark he couldn't see her face, but with her voice being so clear it made him think otherwise.

Was it possible? Was this girl...special? And what did she mean by he wasn't ready? Did she know something he didn't? All these questions they weren't enough, he needed answers and he needed them now.

So snapping himself back to reality Peter quickly followed after the girl hoping to talk to her and to prove once and for all that his dreams were real, but by the time he got out onto the empty street the girl had miraculously vanished.

'What the hell?' Peter thought to himself.

He frantically looked round for any sign or sound of the hooded girl hoping that she would make herself known to him in some way, but unfortunately for Peter luck was not on his side.

She was gone.

Author's Note: Ooooo spooky, who could our mystery hero be? Think we'll see her again? Oh yes!
