The first time they announced their love for each other, it was met with half- hearted happiness from her friends. Twilight, being the logical one, tried to convince her friend that she should keep herself open to more possibilities but was met with kindhearted stubbornness. Rarity didn't quite understand but attempted to be happy for her friend. Rainbow Dash was at first disgusted, but then slowly tried to accept it, for her friend's sake. Applejack just smiled and accepted it, as did Pinkie. Later that day, Rainbow went up to Discord.

"Hey, buddy, she said.

You better treat her right, or I'll have to turn you back into-"

"Don't worry your pretty head, the draconeques said quickly.

I won't do anything to hurt her, I promise."

Then Fluttershy and Discord were in Fluttershy's garden together under the moonlight.

She was laying on top of him. He was holding her with his tail.

They didn't say anything to each other, they just breathed in each other's presence.

Then Discord spoke up.

"The stars are beautiful, he said

Don't you think?"

"Yes, they are beautiful, she said

Luna makes them shine so brightly."

"But you know what shines even more brightly?" he asked

"What?"

"You."

"Don't be silly, I'm not that pretty, she said.

You don't have to fawn over me."

"I'm not fawning over you, I'm speaking the truth, he said.

You are beautiful, inside and out."

Fluttershy blushed and hid her face.

"I love you, Fluttershy, he said gently

You are the umbrella to my rain, the flower in my chaos."

"And I love you too, Fluttershy said,

You're a beautiful disaster that is funny when I need it, sweet, kind, caring."

"And I will always protect you, Discord continued.

From anything and everything."

He suddenly sat up and swooped her up his arms.

Fluttershy squirmed and blushed.

"W-what are you- Mmph!"

She was cut off by a kiss on her muzzle.

She was surprised by the kiss but didn't mind it.

Discord deepened the kiss, and they wrapped their arms around each other, basking in the other's love. Then they released, gasping for breath.

Fluttershy kissed Discord one more time, sweetly

Then they lay down next to each other again, taking in each other's presence.

Fluttershy took Discord's claw and held it with her hoof.

Meanwhile, unknown to her, her friends were watching in shock, horror, happiness and excitement. Pinkie was jumping down from excitement.

"OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, THEY KISSED!"

"THAT LITTLE! I DIDN'T SAY HE COULD KISS HER!" Rainbow screeched.

She tried to go over there, but Applejack stopped her.

"Now hold on an apple plucking minute, Rainbow!

Look at them.

Can't you see they love each other?"

"Well I can see that, but I'm worried she'll get hurt!"

"I know, but I have a feeling he won't let her get hurt, Applejack said,

Do you trust me on that?"

Twilight was more than a little worried of Fluttershy's relationship. But she took hope in the fact that they would be happy together.

"I trust you Applejack, she said

Rainbow, let's just see what happens."

That night, Fluttershy and Discord slept together in that garden under the stars.

She was curled on top of him. He had both arms around her protectively. Luna flew by idly and stopped to see the scene. She gave a warm smile.

"Looks like the chaos has found his light."
