They weren't speaking. They were standing at the fence by the shrieking shack, away from the other Hogwarts students, pressed together. They were nose to nose, eyes closed in the snow gripping each other close… Almost closer than humanly possible, but still not close enough. They were just slowly feeling, unable to keep their hands to themselves. Across Draco's chest, down Harry's stomach, around Draco's waist, up Harry's back, through Draco's hair… Harry stopped at Draco's hips, and Draco stopped around Harry's neck.

They just stood there for a moment, forehead to forehead, body to body, soul to soul, and stared, taking in the beauty of the person in front of them. Draco's intense silvery-grey eyes drawing Harry in, his breathtakingly flawless features, and the slight smile playing at his pips made him want to melt into a lovesick puddle.

Draco could fall asleep in Harry's soft emerald eyes, but he wouldn't dare close his eyes when he could be looking at this beautiful boy. His unruly black hair begged to be touched, and Draco gave into himself, running his fingers through it softly. He couldn't help noticing how adorable Harry looked when he was biting his lip, and looking at him with almost undetectable traces of longing in his eyes.

Harry felt incredibly stupid when he felt his eyes stinging with tears. He tried to blink them back, but they cascaded over and fell down his cheeks

"What's wrong?" Draco asked compassion and worry flashing through his features.

"Nothing… I just-" Harry paused for a moment, then continued. "I just love you… so much," he said, whispering the last words.

Draco grinned and gently wiped the tears away from Harry's face. He wound his arms back around the raven-haired boys neck.

Harry stared into Draco's eyes, staying silent. Then, the blond captured his lips with a fiery passion that spread warmth through his entire body. The kiss was deepened as soon as he gave his consent and parted his lips. They kissed slowly and passionately, and Harry felt the tears coming again, but he let them fall. When they reluctantly broke apart, Draco looked at him, also teary eyed.

"I love you too."
