My second fic in my Twenty Truths series. Luna is my favourite Harry Potter girl, and I think more recognition for her is due. Rated T.

1. Luna likes to read magazines upside-down- she can understand them better that way.
2. She had always considered Ron much funnier then Fred and George.
3. Sometimes, Luna still dreams of her mother. She considers this one of her most strange dreams.
4. Luna had developed an unexpectedly fierce crush on Professor Lupin almost immediately after his first lesson. Partly because he never laughed at her or pitied her. It was one of the first things she and Hermione Granger bonded over.
5. Finding a Crumple-horned Snorkack had never actually been about the creature itself. It was about a private dream that only Luna and her father understand. That was why they resented being told that Snorkack's didn't exist.
6. Luna was one of the only first-years Severus Snape had ever encountered that wasn't the slightest bit frightened of him. It was strangely unsettling.
7. Even though they only meet briefly, Luna has a strangely deep reserve of sympathy for Narcissa Malfoy. Maybe it has something to do with the dark circles beneath her eyes that match her husband's and son's with startling similarity.
8. When she was kidnapped on the Hogwarts Express, Luna was a bit frightened. But she thought that the hooded Death Eaters seemed even more scared then she was.
9. She found it funny how unsettling Neville Longbottom seemed to find her, and yet managed to be her friend at the same time.
10. She actually likes Hagrid's cooking.
11. Unsurprisingly, Luna has a natural knack for Astrology. But she thinks that the constellations don't look anything like their namesakes.
12. The first time Luna ever went to Dumbledore's office, he had told Luna that he used to teach her mother at school and offered her a sweet.
Since then, she's always been partial to Sherbet Lemons.
13. At times, she is very grateful she is a girl- Luna is a nice name, but she cannot imagine what she would have been called if she had been born a boy.
14. The angriest Luna has ever been was when she was ten, on the anniversary of her mother's death. Somebody made a cold remark about the Lovegoods, and she exploded with a rage she didn't know she had inside her. To this day, she's still a little frightened of that incident, in case it one day repeats itself.
15. Luna has always gravitated towards things that are considered strange and unusual by others. Perhaps this is why she is fond of Threstrals.
16. Being isolated from others didn't bother Luna- it all seemed very silly to her, when she knew that things couldn't last the way they were forever.
17. She once kissed Seamus Finnegan- or maybe he kissed her. It was after a particularly exciting DA meeting, and they had had one too many Firewhiskies. To this day, she wonders occasionally if he remembers it at all.
18. Luna got on surprisingly well with Gabrielle Delacour.
19. Despite having never actually met him, Luna has never believed Sirius Black was ever guilty. She told him so when she met him, and he looked straight into her eyes and replied, "Thank you."
20. For this reason, Luna named her daughter Star.
