I can't believe it. I just… How did this happen? I was always in front of you; reaching to places you haven't been yet, getting information you haven't even obtain. I trained my team to be the best. I even have a starter that has a frickin' advantage against yours. I raised my Pokémon so perfectly and learned every single knowledge about Pokémon that I can get. I was there. I was so close to make my old gramps proud. I was so very close to make my dreams come true.

Then how…? How could I lose?

People always said to me, "You'll never become strong. You'll never get to go far." But thanks to you, I proved them wrong. I mean yes, I may not be who you are now. And I doubt I'll walk the path you're walking now. But I did it. I got to make my parents proud. I have lots of Pokemon friends with me. And it's all thanks to you. I mean, you're basically the reason why I'm here now. Sure, my body may feel weak now and then, but that never stop us from being trainers, right?

To be honest, I'm scared of death. I'm scared of my own strength. I'm scared of the dangers this world has to offer.

But thanks to you, I'm not that scared anymore.

Heh. Guess I lost…again. No biggie. You're just stronger than me. That means more motivation for me to train and improve, am I right? I mean yeah, you have gotten stronger lately, so it's fair that you get the 'champion' title. I'm so proud of you. I really am. I mean, sure it kinda sucks we rarely see each other now that you're the famous Sinnoh champ and stuff. No, no, I'm not sad or anything.
