The Chief does stupid things sometimes, even Allen admits. He tries to tell her this, but every single time she raises her voice, and before he knows it she is walking all over him as she sets out to do what he protests her not to.
Face pressed against the cold floor, Allen wishes he were man enough to block her path. He thinks she would start a tantrum like a child, but he can calm her with an embrace, and when she comes to her senses she will kiss him-- not passionately but softly, still mad.
"I'm sorry, Shion," Allen would say and kiss her again. She would kiss back, but not without asserting herself.
