Hey folks! I hope you like this fanfic!
Edit: I recently recieved a message regarding me using the lyrics for the song in one of my fics. To be honest, I've made many songfics in the past and I've never had an issue. Those who have read my stories from day one would know that. However, I don't wanna risk getting banned, so I'm gonna be removing the lyrics from ALL of my songfics, and replace them with a line where they can be imagined to be instead. I will still say what song inspired me to do the specific fic, but no more lyrics. Don't wanna take any chances, so thanks for understanding :)
Sound the Bugle
(Lyrics)
Ellis lay, battered and broken, inside a cell at the CEDA 'safe-zone', wondering how his friends were doing. They had all arrived at the 'safe-zone', expecting to all start a new life, but instead, they all got beaten up and thrown into separate cells. Why this was happening, they had no idea, but what they did know, was that this place was not a safe-zone…
(Lyrics)
Ellis had given up trying to escape and finding his fellow teammates. His previous escapes had resulted in more beatings. His cell was now heavily guarded, so there was a lesser chance of escaping. The last few times Ellis had seen his friends were not under good circumstances…
(Lyrics)
Every time Ellis had tried to escape, the military would take him to the area where his friends were being kept. The military then made Ellis' friends watch as they beat him up. The reason: They wanted to break all of them to prevent them from escaping. Ellis hoped they were all okay…
(Lyrics)
Suddenly, Ellis heard an alarm sound, which signaled that someone else was trying to escape. He heard his guards run away from his door, but Ellis didn't care. They would just catch him and torture him and his friends like always…
(Lyrics)
Ellis heard his door being unlocked, which was unusual. His guards only ever opened his door to give him food. But he kept lying there, expecting some sort of abuse.
"Hey, Overalls, we've got to get out of here now!"
Ellis looked up and saw his friends Nick, Coach and Rochelle standing at the door. For the first time in a long time, Ellis smiled. Seeing his friends mended his spirit and somehow, he knew that no matter what happened in the past, or what happens now, they will get out of here together…
