Will You Remember Me?
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for memories
Remember the good times that we had?
He sat at the kitchen table, eyes haunted, but not crying. He vowed no tears the day they met, and the day he died if she forgot. That day so many years ago was the happiest day he ever lived. A low winded sigh escaped him as he watched his reflection in the weapon he held. The heart-breaking pain he felt would become to much if she did not come that day. It's for the best, for everyone,he thought miserably. They didn't need him, all of them had someone, except him. But if she remembered, he'd know she still cared.
I let them slip away from us when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me
I wanna be the one
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for memories
Sora smiled at Matt, thinking how it was the one of the happiest days of her life. Good food, good time, good company, and good day. Only greatfulness filled her, but one single thing nagged her. Something she forgot, something that was all to important. But she refused to investigate it, she was going to concentrate completely on just this. If she didn't remember it, it couldn't matter.
I'm so tired, but I can't sleep
Standing on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how we feel so much
But we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for memories
Minutes, then hours slid silently away. But he waited, he had been waiting all his life for her. Now, he would wait some more. Though, he would not wait past the night. Memories raced past his closed eyes, taunting him, haunting him. With a fury, he threw them back open. There were no good memories for him anymore. He had lost his best friend. She cut off completely from him. And now, it seemed that she forgot him.
I'm so
afriad to love you
But more afriad to lose
Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had on
Oh you gave me light
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for memories
Tears now did fall from his face. She did forget. Forgot him, forgot their friendship. Drawing a deep, pained breath, he closed his hand around the blade. It was now, or never. And he chose now. Slowly, almost mechanically, he brought it to his wrist. Made the slash. Watched the blood fall like rain. And he felt nothing. Not a single thing, not a regret or anything. He knew his friends, and maybe his family would understand why. But she never would. And he no longer cared. His solemn breathing quickened, and the chill of death was on him. He smiled a grim smile, it was over. His Courage had died, and now, he would follow it.
And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for memories
