-Chief! Wake up!
A female voice shouted.
The Spartan-II had stayed 1 year in cryogenic sleep. After so long, he finally waked up. The Master Chief slowly opened the eyes, expecting to see Marines or a UNSC. What he saw was very different.
He opened the eyes and saw lots of Flood Infections forms. He quickly exited the Cryogenic chamber and kicked the flood. He took his Assault Rifle, ready to fight.
-Cortana, What's happening?
He asked
-I'm not sure Chief, it's the flood but I can't understand. We destroyed them in Halo.
-Is there any ship near?
-I'll check it out.
Cortana thought for a brief second, detecting any ships.
-Affirmative Chief, I detect two UNSC ships. A Halcyon Cruiser, which is giving strange signals and a Frigate, with humans.
The Chief nodded and started to walk, with the hope of finding humans.
He entered to a big room infested by the flood. Six infected marines appeared, with no good intentions.
The Chief started to shot, killing 3 of them. More floods appeared. The Spartan took coverture behind a desk.
He threw a grenade, killing all the floods in the room.
The chief continued walking, paying attention to every sound in the ship. He started to hear voices.
-Come on Marines, those ugly aliens won't win us, kill them all.
A voice could be heard far.
The Spartan approached the voice, he spotted a marine squad.
-A Spartan? What the hell is he doing here?
-Hey, shut up, can't you see it?. It's the Master Chief
The other marines were amazed. A Spartan, the Master Chief, who had killed more than 100 Covenant, the killer of Regret, destructor of Halo. A demon.
-What has happen?. Why are the Flood here?.
The Chief asked
-A long story.
The marine said
-Come on sir, let's move.
The group started to walk. They arrived to the hangar. It was infected by flood.
Suddenly five infected marines appeared and attacked the Marines.
-Kill them all.
Marines shouted.
A Private tried to escape but he fell into the ground.
-Damnt
He said
Several infections forms approached to him. In less than one minute, the marine was infected.
-This is Sgt. Mike O'hara, I request a Pelican extraction.
The marine, the Sgt. said
-Received sir.
A voice in the radio answered.
A Pelican arrived and everybody entered.
