The return of Ronnie:
The cold air hit her hard as she exited the London underground. The winters sun was high in the sky yet the cold still bit at her skin.
She pulled her jacket tighter around herselself in hope to keep her body heat trapped inside her, little good it did though.
She began to walk towards the streets she had once known so well, but now that seemed a mere lifetime ago. Traders sold as they always had, yet today was different. Today they stoped and stared as she walked by, their faces looking asif they'd seen a was shouted at her, and inside her, rose a dark feelling of misery. Maybe this had not being her wisest choice of destination. There again where else could she have gone?
The only place that brought the thought of safty was her sister's house: roxy. These days she was the only person she truly had and was trustworthy. Her marrage was a shambles and her friends couldn't care less. So here she was, standing infront of the London terrace house a bag of nerves.
She walked up the path, her heals echoing down the now so silent street. Her trembling hand reached forward to open the door. Barely able to control her movements due to her nervous shakes. As the door opened the joyful sound of a childs laughter could be heard, and for the first time in what seemed too long, Ronnie smiled. Up the stairs she beagn to walk, the laughs becoming increasingly the door open she saw infornt of her her neice. How in the months she'd been away the liitle girl had grown. Her bleach blonde hair just like her mothers covered her head, and she was dressed in a candyfloss pink pair of dungerees.
Unable to control her pleasure, Ronnie walked up to her and picked up the laugh in bundle of joy, gently kissing her forehead. The little girls smile grew bigger and the smile was not for her Auntie, but the figure who stood silently at the bedroom door. Ronnie followed the young girls eyes untill she too saw who was stood there.
"What are you doing here Ronnnie?"
