(A/N: I realized this story was not properly edited, so I decided to fix it! I hope you enjoy!)
Armin quickly ran down the hall as fast as his legs could take him. His face was flushed and he was panting slightly from running, but he did not seem care. He needed to meet up with Annie before she went home. He had asked her to wait for him outside the school building after class. She agreed but told him that she could not stay long because her father wanted her home early today. Armin glanced down at the beautiful bouquet of blue cushion bulk flowers, and smiled. He wanted to see her in order to give them to her. He had spotted the bouquet in a nearby store next to their school, and instantly thought of Annie. Each flower swayed and bounced in sync with his fast paced steps. Armin tightened his grip around the bouquet. He could only hope that she was still there.
The blond boy made a sharp turn, trying to take a short cut to exit the building. It turned out to be his greatest mistake when his shoulder bumped against the edge of the wall, causing him to let go of the bouquet. The flowers spiraled around the flower in a tattered mess. Armin let out an exasperated sigh, and he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration, as he looked at the destroyed flowers. Why was he cursed with such bad luck? He thought. It was supposed to be perfect: he was going to give the flowers to her and everything would go smooth sailing from there, but no he had to mess up.
Sighing softly to himself, Armin started to pick up the flowers from the ground in a vain attempt to fix them and put them into a bouquet again. His plan, however, failed him because some of the flowers were either torn at some point or became too weak from the fall that it fell limp at the side. He cursed slightly to himself as he formed an alternative plan in his head. He started to discard the flowers that were either torn or too weak, and look for the flowers that were in great shape and manage to survive the fall. He was able to find one. Armin breathed out in relief as he held the single flower in front of him. It was perfect. Faith had managed to find its way back to him after that little mishap. He looked up. Faith would certainly turn into a miracle if Annie was still in front of the school building. He could only hope, and with that Armin collected himself and headed to the front of the school building.
He finally made it. Stopping to catch his breath, Armin had finally reached the front of the school building. There, he spotted Annie leaning against the brick wall, staring at her phone. She turned her head slightly to face him. A small smile appeared on her face as she closed her phone shut and stuffed it in her pocket.
"You're late."
"I know." Armin chuckled softly, scratching the back of his head. "I had some trouble making my way up here. Oh yeah! I-I brought you some flowers…well a flower." He corrected himself.
He straightened himself, and handed her the flower.
He cleared his throat. "It was actually supposed to be a bunch of flowers in a bouquet but I stumbled upon on a little mishap, and the rest of the flowers got destroyed." He looked up at her and smiled. "I know it is one flower but it is something after all. Here!"
Before Annie could take the flower from Armin, Armin came up with another idea. He decided to be daring, and close the distance between them. He beamed slightly when he noticed the shorter blonde girl reddened at the sudden closeness. He did not comment on it though, but he thought she was so cute. He could feel his own cheeks reddened as well, but he chose to ignore it for the sake of his plan to work. Reaching up, Armin took off the hair band that held Annie's hair in a bun, freeing her hair, letting it fall down and framed around her face. After that, he placed the flower in her hair. The taller blond boy took a step back to admire his work, and could not help but blush in satisfaction.
The blonde girl's shoulder length hair, which was normally kept in a bun, was swaying ever so slightly in the breeze. Her face was flushed, and she was biting on her lips. She was wearing a knee length aqua blue dress that Armin noticed matched so perfectly with the flower that he had placed in her hair. She was so beautiful. Armin had always found her to be quite attractive, but today she was just drop dead gorgeous!
Armin did not quite understand it. Maybe it was from the way Annie had look with her hair down and the flower in her hair or the fact that she was in a dress or the way her lips parted ever so slightly after she released them from the fierce grip she had on them earlier. He still was not quite sure, but whatever it was, he could not suppress the urge to be daring with her because of it. So, he closed the distance between once again, and pulled the shorter blonde girl into a kiss. And faith managed to stay with him throughout the whole ordeal.
