Turkeyleg and grandfeast decided to do something special for their contribution to the Grattitudeclan Thanksgiving feast. Everyone normally brought mice and squirrels, but Turkeyleg and Grandfeast were going to try to get a turkey. They couldn't find any turkeys in their terrritory.
"Grandfeast!"Said Turkeyleg excitedly.
"What?" Grandfeast asked.
"A saw a turkey at the barn near the edge of the territory once!" Turkeyleg exclaimed.
"Let's go!" said Grandfeast.
Grandfeast and Turkeyleg went across the territory to the barn. They soon saw a turkey.
"I'll hide in the bushes and you can chase it toward me."Said Grandfeast.
"Ok, but we better hurry it is nearly sunhigh." Replied Turkeyleg
They got into position and Turkeyleg chased it to grandfeast who killed it.
"Hurry, it will start soon."Said Turkeyleg.
Turkeyleg and Grandfeast quickly dragged the turkey between them. They got back right before the ceremony. They hid the turkey in a bush. They went to the center of camp to say what they are thankful for with their clanmates.
"I am thankful for a wonderful clan to lead." Said Gravystar.
"I am thankful for food." Said Stuffingpaw.
"We are thankful for Turkey!" Turkeyleg exclaimed as Grandfeast took out the hidden turkey.
"Wow!" Yelled the clan.
"We caught it ourselves." Said Turkeyleg and Grandfeast.
"We are thankful for Turkeyleg and Grandfeast!" exclaimed the whole clan.
