I really wanted to write a RenPiri for my C2 community, but I had no ideas…so I am attempting fluff, but if it sucks…oh well. I'm better at odd humor anyway. This is in honor of Valentines Day and is my first and unfortunately probably last RenPiri story

Pirika sighed.

I hope Onii-chan is okay...

She leaned on her hands and gazed out the window.

What she was looking at?

The rain…

It was raining…

It was pouring…

Someone was just waiting for an old man to be snoring…

Pirika sighed again…

Why did it have to rain today?

I hate the rain…

It reminds me of…

HIM

The phone rang and Pirika picked it up "Moshi, moshi"

"Pirika?" a voice asked. Pirika froze "Look, Pirika…"

"D-don't call me…"

"Piri—"

"I HATE YOU!" Pirika hung up the phone with a slam

The phone rang again…

And again…

Pirika yelled "Argh! STUPID PHONE!"

She grabbed the phone and pulled it out of the plug

Pirika walked into the kitchen to make some cocoa

Why did it have to rain today of all days?

Pirika took a sip and sighed

I… I remember the day I first saw the rain I hate the rain…

"Why?" a voice asked

I-I said that out-loud?

Pirika turned to the speaker. "Hello Ren. I hate the rain because it's evil"

"How is it different from snow?"

"Stop being difficult!"

"I'm not being difficult!"

"Whatever, rain isn't anything like the snow it's all wet and…and icky! Not fun at all!"

"Personally I like the rain."

"Of course! It's cold and dreary like you!"

"A man could take offense."

"The boy you are should!"

The two glared at each other for what felt like a century.

"I'm cold."

"Why do I care Ren?"

"I just thought you might be willing to warm me up."

"W-wha?" A blush started forming on Pirika's cheeks as Ren wrapped his arms around her.

"Much better," Ren mumbled in Pirika's ear.

Pirika's heart started pounding as Ren's face came closer and closer to hers until…

Pirika sighed again

That was my first kiss…

Pirika stared at her cup

After that I thought maybe the rain wasn't so bad…

Until today that is… And the rain doesn't get a second chance

Shaking herself out of the reminiscence Pirika looked out the window again.

It's really pouring

There was a knock on the door

"Who could be out on a night like this?" Pirika asked the empty room.

Pirika opened the door. "Yes?"

"Pirika, we need to talk."

"We don't need to do anything Ren," Pirika scathingly replied as she turned to leave.

"W-wait!"

Pirika turned around. "I never want to see you again"

And with that she slammed the door in poor Ren's face.

There was a pounding on the door; Pirika ignored it as she put her cup in the sink

I need to clear my head. I'm taking a shower

After the shower Pirika walked from the bathroom to hear the pounding on the door ever more persistent.

Pirika groaned and walked to the door.

"GO AWAY!" Pirika yelled as she tried to slam the door.

I-it's stuck!

Pirika looked at a smirking Ren then looked down by her feet where she saw Ren's foot blocking the door.

Pirika glared at Ren. "Kindly remove your foot from my doorway"

Ren raised an eyebrow. "And if I refuse?"

"Fine!" Pirika tried to leave the door where it was when she felt arms around her waist.

"Let go Ren," the Ainu coldly commanded.

"Not until you listen to me."

Ren pulled Pirika out into the rain and leaned towards Pirika.

Her heart skipped a beat.

Stupid heart, always the betrayer...

After a bit Ren pulled away from Pirika.

"I'm sorry," Ren murmured in her ear.

Maybe…

Maybe I can give the rain a second chance

Pirika gave Ren a weak smile "Me too."

Ren leaned toward Pirika again.

Ah! I'm so bad at fluff! If this doesn't really make sense to anyone I have a more humorous story that kind of works as a prologue for this story explaining the fight.
