"Son, if you don't stop playing that game and get on with your homework you won't go to the match on Saturday with your Dad."

I don't know how many times I've heard that threat, I know she'll let me go because Saturday afternoon is her time to go shopping. She tells us every week that shopping is no fun if dad and I spoil it by making horrible comments about everything in the shops.

I turn back to my computer screen to ex off Minecraft, when suddenly I see a strange figure in the corner of the screen and he's pointing to a sign next to him;

Help me, S.O.S., I'm trapped.

I heard a random voice, which said:

"I was playing minecraft like you. Then all of a sudden I got catapulted into this world. I have no tools and no shelter. I found a map which stated, 'You have to build a Nether portal to escape.'

I've tried punching trees to get the wood to make tools but it hurts. I have to remember that this isn't a game now, it's my reality.

SO please help me!"

Oh God, I've played this game for so long, I've gone mad, absolutely bonkers, the game is talking to me. The small figure on the screen started jumping up and down.

"There's nothing wrong with your sanity, please don't ignore me, it's getting dark here and the monsters are coming out to play. I hid in a cave last night because I was being chased by an Archer skeleton, he only just missed me. Please leave me with some weapons so I can defend myself."

I can only get you some wooden tools. Thats the best I can do in a short time.

"Thank you, I'm really grateful, at least I will have a weapon. I don't suppose you could leave me a torch, an axe, a pickaxe and a sword. Don't think I'm being cheeky, I spent all last night in the dark, it's terrifying, all you can hear are moans and bones clanking but you don't know where they are!"

Look behind you, there is a chest with two wooden swords, an axe, one loaf of bread and two torches. My mom is nagging me so I have got to go. |I've built you a dirt house next to the hill, if you can make it there, you can hide for the night.

Good Luck

I got up early the next morning to log onto Minecraft and check if the boy survived the night. I was so glad to see him breaking down the blocks to get out of the dirt shelter.

I have mined some stone and chopped down some trees. Ohhh god I can hear a hissing, sos gotta run!

I watched the small figure race away from the dirt shelter as quickly as he could. There was a small explosion and when the dust settled there was nothing left.

Ha there goes that. Right can you follow me while I go down into a mine so I can find some materials to make a Nether portal.

Sos Bro, I've got to go to school, I will get home as soon as I can this afternoon, try to stay out of trouble until then.
