For years I watched him. For years I wondered how it would feel to be wrapped up in his arms, to feel his warmth and inviting presence envelope me, to wake up to his bright eyes and soft hand caressing my cheek. Years… It wasn't until that one day, that one singular day that I gathered up the courage to talk to him, to finally confess my feeling for him, to him. I got on the back of my prize steed and took a three-hour journey that I swear on my soul bruised my butt.
When I got to his estate I jumped off my horse and took in a deep breath calming my heart rate. A large smile forming on my lips when I saw his long shrubby, gentle curls bounce as he rounded up the sheep. I held the leash of my steed as I slowly came up the path. His head was just rising up, he was about to see me when suddenly something distracted him and he turned to the tree line. My heart grinded to a halt when I saw whom it was. A smile came upon David's lips, a smile that I have never seen before. A smile never directed towards me. A smile I always wished to see.
He began to jog over to that ebony headed girl. That same girl that somehow always rips everything I care about away from me. I watched as he hugged and kissed her. My entire world collapsed into a trillion pieces. All I loved was gone once again due to that Snow White! I vowed from that day on to never, ever love again.
