This story has been slowly decaying in my doc manager for a rather long time. I finally decided to dig it up, dust it off, and display it for all to see.

It still sucks... enjoy ^_^

"London bridge is falling down,"

A cheerful melody rose and fell in time to two children who danced and skipped hand in hand.

"Falling down, falling down,"

The blue-eyed boy chased the blonde little girl under the raised arms of a crimson-haired woman.

"London bridge is falling down,"

The boy grinned and wrapped his little arms tightly around the neck of the woman as she picked him up and spun him around.

"My fair lady."

"London bridge is falling down,"

The golden-haired woman held the blue-eyed boy tighter, and continued to gently rock back and forth, all while quietly humming the soft tune

"Falling down, falling down,"

The boy let out a soft whimper and nuzzled his face closer to the crook of his mother's neck.

"London bridge is falling down,"

The tears dried on the boy's cheek. He sighed softly as he closed his eyes, the nightmare forgotten.

"My fair lady."

"London bridge is falling down,"

An emaciated blue-eyed boy sang to himself in a broken voice, rocking slowly in the corner of a cage.

"Falling down, falling down,"

He looked out of the bars of his cage, staring at nothing in particular. He didn't even seem to realize what he was doing.

"London bridge... is fall...ing down..."

A single tear slid down his cheek and fell to the ground.

"My fair lady."

A blue-eyed boy and a black-clad man stood before two head-stones. A rueful smile crept on to the boy's as he finished the melody.

So, I'm slowly coming out of my hiatus. I can afford some free time, but I still have a lot of other important things to deal with. That being said, HBC may or may not be getting an update this week. I'll see if I can free up some time this weekend, but that's all I can say for the time being.
