As Ravyn walked to the water front the sky towered over her. It made her think of what her grandmother told her about her mum: Lovely girl, with the eyes the color of storm clouds .best thing that ever happened to your father.
She was not close to her father, hadn't saw him in months. He was at a camp or a work or whatever lame excuse her grandmother made up.
Her black hair came from him, but she had her mother's eyes.
Ravyn was only 11 and her father was only 28.
She knew where he was now and she was going there.
She looked both ways before walking into the sea.
As the sea swallowed her she closed her eyes and it's currents took Ravyn away.
"Dad," a man said. "she's here, your brilliant little girl." An older deeper voice said."Come In Ravyn,"
As her father and grandfather talked she watched but didn't speak.
When they were done she said "Dad,why do you hate me?"
Then she left.
