A/N: I recently read the fic Overgrowth (yah I know I'm really late) and I had a creative writing period in English so I decided to make this little oneshot based off it. Nothing much but it's one of my better works. Nothing new really, just a bit of San's thoughts. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own Undertale (Toby Fox) and I do not own Flowerfell (underfart-snas).

"Knock knock."

Sans approached the grave standing in the middle of a patch of golden flowers, sticking out like a sore thumb.

'Who's there?' He heard their voice say in his head. Sometimes he wondered if he even imagined it correctly anymore. It had been so long since he had heard their voice. So long since-

"Flower." He continued before he could think any further. Before he could think about-

'Flower who?' He heard their voice again. It was still soft, still small, still kind.

He felt tears beginning to form, his eye sockets stinging. He tried to blink them back.

"Flower you today?" His voice cracks at the last word, tears forming their stains down his face, beginning to drop from his chin. He bites his non-existent lip.

He can't cry. Not in front of them. Not again. They wanted him to be happy. They wanted him to smile. They wanted him to-

He collapses into his knees as he chokes back a sob. He brings his hands to his face, trying to wipe back the tears, but they just keep coming. He doesn't realise he's already crying.

"Sweetheart," He chokes out of a sob. He hates speaking to them like this. If only they could hear him. Could they? He hoped so. So much.

"Please," He outstretched a hand towards the grave, placing it on their name as he felt the grooves and curves in the stone. He remembered that, when they had lost their sight, that's what they would do. They would feel things, finding the smallest of details. He wishes that the hard, cold stone was their soft, warm skin. He wishes to hold their small hands once more.

"Come back."

But nobody came.

A/N: As I said, nothing much. Just a short thing I had fun with. Hope you enjoyed that! R&R!
