New house, new street, new school, new people...
It sure was scary moving away. After all, I am only 11. I have never actually moved before. I have always lived in the same house that I was born in.
"Bella, honey? Have you started to un-pack?" I heard my mum call from downstairs. I sighed, and sat down on a box. Of course not. I didn't know where to start!
"Um, I could use some help, thanks." I called back down. She loved unpacking things, so maybe I could sneak away and explore the neighborhood when she came up...
"Okay darling. Now, lets see..." Mum said as she came through the door, and looked around. She opened one box, looked inside, and pulled everything out. Mum was in such a daze, she didn't even notice me tip toeing out the door. I rushed down stairs and giggled. She was such a ditz, my mummy was.
I opened my new front door, and step outside, into the brisk Fork's air. It was so wet here. So many puddles! I laughed to myself, and jumped in one, splashing all around me.
"Hi." I heard a small voice say behind me. I jumped, and turned around. A small girl was standing near my porch. She was small, had spiky black hair and bright eyes.
"Hi... I'm Bella. What's your name?" I asked shyly, taking a step towards her. The girl smiled, a jumped up the porch steps and gave me a big hug.
"My name is Alice Cullen! Lets be friends!" She laughed, and took my hand. "Lets go to the park, and you can meet my brothers and sisters!"
I let her tug my hand, and we skipped off. I was so happy that I already had a friend!
"I just know that we will be the best of friends!" Alice kept saying. I just laughed and nodded care freely. I hoped her family liked me...
This was just the start, and to get you guys the picture of the story...
