Scooby
Very few human possessions could excite Scooby the way a suitcase would. Suitcases were even better than the sound of the oven beeping or the doorbell, both of which were pretty thrilling to him. But when the gang's suitcases started to gather by the front door, the Dane would become distinctly restless. To Scooby, the packing and loading of the bags into the van meant one thing: a trip.
Scooby loved the cross country rides; he was a dog after all. To him, a trip meant that all of his humans were together and would do things they normally could not do. Scooby did not care as much for the mysteries. Finding clues could be fun, but there were always too many scary things that happened. He preferred when they went on group trips to the beach or mountains. Sometimes, when Daphne rolled down the window for him, he could smell their favorite spots well before they arrived.
Nothing was as exciting as a suitcase; just the sound of one being pulled from the hall closet would send him running through the house barking.
