Harry hated the attention. Especially when he was trying to do something he didn't want anyone to know about. Besides Ron and Hermione.
"Dude, why are we at a muggle shop?"
"Ron, I figured there would be less wizards here, to spread the word to Ginny that we were ever here." Harry stated staring up at the rain covered sign. Tiffany's it read. Apparently was some muggle jewelry company, Hermione had suggested we go to. She had also hinted at Ron that she wanted a necklace from there as a birthday present. He'd tell him later.
"Harry, my sister isn't the kind of person to fall for some store bought ring, you know that right?" Ron said looking up at the sign as well, clearly curious. His hair was plastered down to the sides of his face, from the warm spring rain coming down around them.
"I am well aware of that, Ron. I have a plan b, ring wise. For the actual proposal, I have no plan a." His heart sped up at the word proposal. At 22 years old Harry Potter never thought that doing something as simple as asking a question would be so nerve racking. It was a simple question with a yes or no answer. It was also a complicated question with two very distinctive answers.
"Hey, don't look at me. I haven't got a plan. I don't intend to have to do this myself for a long time." Ron wasn't the most helpful when it came to romance or even girls.
"Yeah, you tell that to Hermione." Harry said, bounding up the steps leaving Ron standing on the sidewalk stricken.
"So, what did you decide?" Ron leaned over the edge of Harry's cubicle and asked. Harry reached into his desk drawer and pulled out a box. He opened it towards Ron, trying to keep his co-workers from noticing. "Wow. That's nice. So, when you gonna do it?"
"I don't know. Whenever the moment comes, but probably fairly soon. So be aware." Harry said putting the ring away and returning to his work. It was going to be a long night.
