"Mom, How long do I have to stand here?" I whined to my mother, Who was screwing in a screw on a cylinder-shaped machine that had about 5 gages, and 2 leveres that were lime green.
"Just a bit longer, Sweetie!" My mother, Madiline(Maddie) Fenton replied in her usual cheery tone.
I sighed, and went back to holding a box-shaped, Toy Car-like remote. I had no idea what the machine did, Nor did I care. I was supposed to meet Sam and Tucker at the park in 15 minuets, and My parents made me stay in my pajamas.
"It's done!" Jack Fenton, My father, Yelled in his normal excited-type tone.
"M-Mom, D-Dad...Um, What does this machine do, Exactly?" I asked nervously. If it had anything to do with my ghost powers being taken away, I was out of there. Period.
"It's supposed to take a ghost's power completly away, so it can't hurt anyone." Mom replied.
I cringed, Knowing they could hit my alter-ego, Danny Phantom, With it, And permently take away my ghost powers, Which I would be okay about, But Sam would murder me.
"Maybe it can help us take down the putred ecto-plasm pot Danny Phantom!" Dad cried out, breaking a small moment of silence.
"Now, Jack. We use this, Then, We rip him apart molucule by molucule!" Mom told Dad, Smirking.
"Danny, Press the big red 'ON' Button on the remote, Please." My Mom ordered.
I did as I was told, and the machine lit up. A green beam shot out at me, and It hit me in the chest. I yelped, but stood my ground. Mom, Nor Dad saw the beam hit me.
"zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...!" The machine sparked, and shut down. Un-operational.
"Um...I got to go meet Sam and Tucker at the park. See you later?" I said so fast, the last scentence sounded like a question.
I ran to my room, changed quickly, and tried to transform into my ghost forme. I heard a 'zzzttt' like sound, and I didn't transform. I shook it off like nothing, and ran downstairs, and out the door. I decided to tell Tucker about it later. Sam would get all high-strung, and get worried.
"It's just nothing, Right? Maybe I wasn't thinking straight?" I scratched the back of my neck, and ran towards the park.
