Most people would say he is a black sun.

She doesn't think so.

While he is very explosive and he is very fiery, he isn't a sun. The sun, it shines through and through. It never lies and it most certainly doesn't hide anything. It is true.

Judal, he hides his real emotions behind a mask that looks like the sun. He pretends that his mind and his heart and his feelings are all the same, but they aren't.

His mind tells him that he doesn't care. His heart and his feelings disagree.

His mind tells him it's fun. His heart and his feelings tell him to stop.

Morgiana wonders why he acts like a black sun. She knows he isn't one. He is a white moon, forever hiding behind a facade. He is pure white on the inside, with his heart and his feelings, but his mind, it makes him look (feel) such a dark, pitch black.

She figures he lies to himself because the people who raised him made him ignore certain feelings. (But just because you don't acknowledge them doesn't mean they're not there.)

How long, she wonders, has he had this mask on? Without it, she is sure he would be at peace. If everything about him were to align, he would be happy. Perhaps then he would be a true sun.
