Bella P.O.V
"Sweetheart, are you sure you'll be fine? I can stay longer if you need me." Edward told me.
"Edward, I'm sure, you don't need to stay, I'll be perfectly fine. I can take care of myself you know." I explained to him as I ran my fingers through his hair. I stood on my tiptoes, and kissed him. "Go, I'll be here when you get back." And waved him off.
"Bye love, I'll be back in a couple days. Take care of yourself for me." He said and kissed me gently on the lips. Before I knew it though, he was gone.
I closed the front door of Charlie's house. It would be a long weekend without Edward. I decided to get my book report for school typed. I ran up the tall staircase, and to my room. I turned on my ancient computer. I groaned out loud because of the long weekend ahead.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Two Days Later
I was so excited for Edward to get back from hunting. I hated when he left on weekends. I had gotten a lot done, but I missed Edward like crazy. I started to watch a movie downstairs, because Charlie was fishing with Billy, and then they were going to watch the game.
I looked at the clock. Two o'clock pm. Edward probably wouldn't be back until tonight. Before I knew it though, it was time to cook dinner. I started to cook some spaghetti we had. I knew it had to simmer for awhile, so I went upstairs to email my mother. After awhile, I smelled smoke and something burning so I went downstairs to check my spaghetti, knowing we didn't have any fire alarms. The smoke was thick on the stairs, and I tried to go down, but soon everything was black.
