"I thought you'd never ask" Holly replied sheepishly when Will asked her to help him out with a mash-up performance with the kids.

"Man, she's really adorable when she smiles like that." Will thought to himself, standing in the doorway of her history class.

You have my heart

And we'll never be worlds apart

May be in magazines

But you'll still be my star

Baby, cause in the dark

You can't see shiny cars

And that's when you need me there

With you I'll always share

Cause I...

I'm singin' in the rain

Just singin' in the rain

What a glorious feeling

I'm happy again

Just a couple days ago, Terri had asked Will if he was happy and he replied that he wasn't, that he felt like he was searching for something to no avail. Will still felt that way, like there was some missing puzzle piece to his life, but right now - in this moment, he believed the words he was singing, and he felt them. I'm happy again. And he has a feeling it had to do with this woman, this Holly Holliday who had tried to steal his job.

I'm laughing at clouds

So dark up above

I'm singin', singin' in the rain

You can stand under my umbrella

Under my umbrella

No wonder the glee kids had loved Holly so much, Will thought to himself. She had so much energy when she performed, and you could tell she loved what she was doing. Performing like this with her, it reminded Will why he got back into the arts himself. For the love of it, for the fun of it.

These fancy things

Will never come in between

You're part of my entity

Here for infinity

When the world has took its part

When the world has dealt its cards

If the hand is hard

Together we'll mend your heart

As they splashed through the puddles and harmonized, Will felt like he was a little boy again, performing Broadway songs in his parents' driveway in the rain. He felt that pure, unadulterated joy like he hadn't in a very long time. Before the stresses of life and his failed marriage and work rested on his shoulders. When he sang because he loved it and no one could stop him.

It's rainin', rainin'

Ooh, baby it's rainin', rainin'

Baby, come here to me

Come here to me

It's rainin', rainin'

Ooh, baby it's rainin' , rainin'

Baby, come here to me

Come here to me

Holly flashed Will a million-watt-smile as they performed together under the umbrella and he couldn't help but return it. This girl seemed to be ooze happiness and joy, like she was a ball of energy and light, right down to her sunshine-colored hair. She was radiant, she was beautiful, she was captivating. Will definitely had to get to know her better. Something had to be right if he was this happy with her, happier than he'd ever been with Terri or Emma or anyone. Happier than he'd been in his whole life.

It's rainin', rainin'

Ooh, baby it's rainin', rainin'

Baby, come here to me

The sun's in my heart

And I'm ready for love
