Ok! the usual, I do not own any of these characters I just play with them, hahaha. they all belong to J.K. Rowling.

This is a sad fiction, though the start is a bit silly it really gets very sad by the end.

His heart was beating fast; Harry Potter, yes the Harry Potter had fallen to his knees right before the young Slytherin. Draco could have made a snide comment at Harry's mishap but instead he stood above Harry frozen, dwelling on thoughts that were only possible in his dreams. He quickly continued down to the Great Hall, trying to completely ignore Harry as he picked up his books and parchment from the floor. He had used all his will-power just to not help him, but ignore him as usual as he headed for dinner.

As the fair-haired beauty picked and prodded a his food, he chanced a glance over to Harry's usual spot at the Gryffindor table. He found the raven-haired boy whispering something softly into his girlfriend, Ginny's, ear. She and Harry giggled about something while Draco's anger rose. He clamped his teeth together and ground away at them. He looked back down at his untouched meal and pushed it away dropping has fork on the plate. He ignored his classmates puzzled looks as he stood up and stormed out of the room.

He had been laying in the soft bed for hours; or at least it had seemed like hours, he hadn't looked at the time since he had left his dinner cold and alone in mid-meal that night. This wasn't fair, why did Potter have a spell upon Draco's heart strings. Draco had to live through thought and fantasy just to be with a boy who wouldn't care if he just disappeared and never returned. His lust and desire for Harry, the boy he could never have, had lead him to depression and many a sleepless night. To have to turn away as his love went to kiss his girlfriend; to bite his tongue when they embraced or held hands, these were the reasons Draco's neck was sore and his tongue was raw. Pain was what Draco felt knowing that he could never freely kiss Harry or even give him a simple hug. Pain was what he had inflicted upon his own body in pointless attempts to vanquish thoughts of the emerald-eyed vixen from attacking his weary mind.

After weeks of pure sorrow, Draco heard the fresh news in the Gryffindor house. Harry had broke things off with Ginny. But though he was now single, Draco had given up after a year of un-attained love. Love he still held in an incomplete puzzle still waiting for Harry to fill in the missing pieces. There was no point anymore, he had lost his hope but had kept his desire, and would now have to live as such for what would seem an eternity. Draco told himself that it would be best to never reveal his true feelings for the boy.

A few rooms away, Harry had just told himself the very same thing.

They had both made a mistake and would have to live the rest of their lives wondering what might have happened. After all, a love never revealed is a love never shared.

END.
