Have you ever wondered if there was that one person out there just for you? One person that you were meant to be with, for the rest of your life, no matter the circumstances? That one person that would always be there for you no matter how big or small that crisis? The one person that has seen you at your best, you're worst. Your best friend that would travel to the ends of the earth for you, with you chasing some crazy story that you can't seem to let go of.
Is there that one person that you are meant to spend the rest of your life with no matter what. They are always there for you and you always think of them first with the good and bad news. Someone that will never turn you away when you show up at their doorstep at two in the morning because you can't sleep because you need someone to talk to. Someone that will come and get you at a moments notice because you are stranded and you can't find your way home.
The person is your home. No matter where you are, home is only when you are with that one person. Doesn't matter where you are, you are safe when your with them. They make you believe in yourself even when you don't. They know how you operate, and they know what buttons to push to get you to open up, to talk to them about how you are feeling, even if you just want to be left alone.
The best friend that you know they are because they know everything about you; even your deep dark secrets and they still love you. They are still there. That one person that knows all about your past, but doesn't hold it against you, because they made some mistakes also, and you don't hold it against them.
There is that one person that you can't stop fighting with, that you won't talk to for months, but can still be best friends with and pick up where you left off, as if you never stopped talking.
Is there that one person that you are always loyal to, and know exactly what to get them for their birthday? That one and only gift that only you will think about buying for them.
Is there that one person, who will call you up in the middle of the night to make sure that you are okay after a long day where nothing seemed to go your way? Someone that knows what your are feeling by the look on your face, and by the excuses that you give other people when they ask if you're okay.
The person that knows the real you. Not the mask that you wear everyday. The person that will stand by you through your never ending cycle of failed relationships, you stand and help them through theirs. You don't see what they see in the other person, but then again you know that you don't see what they see in theirs.
When the day is said and done, you know that tomorrow is going to be awesome because your best friend, your confidant, your secret keeper, your soul mate is going to there greeting you with a warm smile and a new story to tell you, because that is what you're there for.
