Down for the Count

{A day in the life of a professional wrestling referee}

5:30am - Ralph, professional wrestling referee wakes up and stumbles out of bed. He stubs his toe on the nearby table. As a result, he passes out.

5:48am - Ralph regains consciousness. Luckily it was only a minor bump or he might have been out longer.

5:50am to 8:30am - Ralph does menial tasks such as eating breakfast.

9:00am - Ralph gets in his car and drives to work.

9:15am - While driving, somebody on the sidewalk begins waving their arms. Ralph, being a professional referee, can't help but watch this person instead of watching where he's going.

9:16am - Ralph rear-ends another car. He passes out.

10:30am - Ralph wakes up. His car is gone. His wallet is missing. He's on the other side of town, lying on a park bench. Rather than confuse himself by figuring out what happened, he accepts this and begins walking to work.

12:15pm - Ralph finally arrives at work. He's still several hours early, knowing for prior experience that if he doesn't have at least 12 hours leeway he might be late.

12:30pm to 7:30pm - Ralph wanders about aimlessly, not doing anything at all. Being a referee, this is easy to do.

7:45pm - Ralph is mugged. He counts "1! 2! 3!" as the robber attempts to rip his watch off. As he counts 4, Ralph begins yelling and gesturing to the thief to "break it up" and fight fairly.

?:??pm to ?:??pm - Ralph looks for a new watch.

10:00pm - Ralph misses the match he was supposed to ref, but does find a nice watch. It was in the gutter when he woke up, after a fly had bitten him.

10:30pm - Ralph makes his way home.

1:45am - Ralph arrives at his house and goes to bed.

5:30am - Ralph wakes up and wishes he'd chosen another line of work.
