Family Walk

"Heal Dolly." Nick told the family dog while the entire family was going for a walk.

Jackie pushed Hundley in her stroller while the other kids walked beside Nick and Jackie.

The baby let out an excited squeal.

"Are you having fun?" Jackie asked her with a chuckle.

"Mommy do you like my sunglasses?" Jasmine asked Jackie.

"Yeah kiddo, you look way cool!"

Jasmine beamed at her.

After that all the kids wanted to show her their sunglasses, as if she didn't know what the sunglasses looked like even though she had bought them.

"Here, let's see what Dolly looks like in sunglasses." Nick told them as he took off his sunglasses and put them on the dog.

The kids giggled like crazy.

Nick took back his sunglasses and then the family continued on their walk and they saw a squirrel and the kids got so excited.

"We take him home?" Sloan asked Jackie sounding hopeful.

Jackie laughed.

"No honey we can't take him home." She told him.

Sloan frowned, it was so cute, he thought it would make a great new pet.

They walked another block and then decided to head home but on their way back Dolly decided she was tired and laid down.

The kids giggled like mad.

"Dolly come on, get up, I'm not carrying you home." Nick told her.

Dolly however was stubborn and continued to lay on the ground.

"Her funny." Johnna said as she burst into another round of laughter.

"Yeah she's hilarious." Nick thought sarcastically to himself.

Dolly wouldn't move so Nick devised a plan.

"Alright guys, let's walk, once she sees us start to leave she'll follow us." Nick told the family.

The family did just that and just as Nick thought Dolly immediately got up and followed them.

Eventually the family made it home.

Once the family had eaten dinner Nick and Jackie gave the kids their baths and then put them to bed.

"I had a nice time tonight on our walk, it was a great family outing and the weather was beautiful." Jackie told Nick.

"Yeah, I liked it too, and I liked it even better because I didn't end up carrying Dolly home." Nick replied with a grin.

Jackie laughed as she sat down next to Nick on the couch so they could watch television.

The couple watched their show and then went to bed themselves, it had been a very pleasant evening for the entire family!
