The newest planet was one of the oddest so far. There was the most diverse amount of wild animals, and at least half of them didn't register as known on the sensors. Perhaps it was because they were in a foreign part of the universe at the that their kind had never run off to before, but for higher-ups like Captain Shmeck, it seemed a matter of little concern.
After all, their brilliant leader had pointed out, there was no dominant species to have to deal with, so there wasn't even a need for the usual relocation process. There was no way anything could be strong enough of a threat to them, the Boov, if there was so little organization or chain of command preexisting.
So it was with little to no concern that one of the runaway aliens settled down for the night in their streamlined home. Sure, it was set a bit away from most of the others, by chance of how they'd been arranged. And sure, they were close, almost within the woods the surrounded one side of the plains they'd located. But it wasn't like anything would go wrong, or anything dangerous would occur! With their enemies the farthest away in decades, the Boovian settled down in their little bed and drifted off to sleep...
Not noticing how a pair of eyes peeked through the blinds on their window from the outside.

The little purple alien woke up before his alarm, to his first surprise of the day. Blinking in confusion, he realized that the reason why was a mixture of the extra heat and strange scent they didn't recognize.
He sat up, rolling his shoulders in a minor stretch, before turning his gaze over to where the source seemed to be. For his second surprise, he saw that his oven was on, and there was something being cooked on the stovetop. Third, that there was someone else in his small home. A small orange, scrawny little person, who wore long shoes, a hat about the same size as them, and an even bigger smile than that when their black eyes met his own.
"Howdy there! Glad you're up, I've made ya some breakfast! I hope you like dingleberry pancakes!" the stranger exclaimed. "The name's Wander! What's yours?"
This little Boov had no idea the day he was in for as he replied, "I-it's, it's just O-Oh. And...what ARE you?"
AN: When I saw the movie 'Home', all I could think of was how great it was. When the person I went to go see it with pointed out how he wondered how Oh got to be so different, a certain Star Nomad came to mind- and so here we are! Comments wanted, and if you have any ideas as to what will happen, let me know and I'll do my best to add them in!
