This is my first story. I doubt I did that well. I would appreciate anyone readin this though. Just a short little story about Toph reflecting on her and Aang's relatonship. Thx:)
Aang
He was a great guy to have as a friend, companion, and even husband.
It was beyond her how he could be so amazing at everything he did.
As the Avatar – he was an expert bender. He was sweet, kind, and understanding. He was always there for her and the world at the same time. He could be playful and tough. Aang was a great sparring partner. Since he had grown up and mastered all the elements, Twinkletoes was a tough, but always welcome, challenge to Toph's abilities.
He was fun to be around. Whenever Toph and Aang would fly around on Appa in the earlier days of their marriage to visit their friends or ailing countries, he would always make time for the two of them. Whenever they visited the South Pole to see the open-armed grandparents of Sokka and Katara, Paku and Gran Gran, they would always go penguin sledding. Whenever they visited the Zuko and Katara at the Fire Nation Palace, he would always make time for them to walk in a field of fire lilies or go out to eat. In the Earth Kingdom, as soon as he could away from business matters, the young couple would go watch some of the earthbenders in the fighting arena where the two first met. Wherever the two were, they always had fun. Whether it was lunch at the Jasmine Dragon, visiting Sokka and Suki's growing family on Kyoshi Island, watching a ridiculous play on Ember Island, or at a reunion with the gang – they were inseparable.
She remembered the first time they made love. He was gentle, but strong. He portrayed all of the elements he bended when their bodies were intertwined. Strong and hard like a rock. Passionate like a raging fire. Gentle and fluid like a calming wave. Swift and overwhelming like a strong gust of wind. Aang was everything and more.
He was peacemaker to the world. Heartbreaker to his fans. Lover and husband to her. And sitting in their house in Ba Sing Se, where so many years ago they had lived before with their watertribe friends, watching their kids grow up and reflecting on their past together – she was happy. Her blinded eyes shined and a single tear rolled down her cheek.
Toph and Aang. She liked the sound of it now just as much as she did when he first asked her hand in marriage. She was eternally grateful to the spirits for bringing them together.
Smiling to herself, she softly whispered, "Thank you."
