AN: Um, hi. This idea just hit me as I was looking at some of my own less than satisfactory photos. Er... this is my first one-shot as well as my first FMA fic so please no flames.

Disclaimer: If I owned FMA I wouldn't be sitting here and it'd be in English.

Photography Lesson

Roy looked down at the latest set of photographs his best friend had just given him. Apparently, Elysia wasn't the only one that occupied Maes photography obsession.

There are certain rules every good photographer must learn at one point or another in their career. These lessons include how to judge distance and lighting, what shutter speed to use, when to use the flash, and how to get the best angle on their target. Maes had certainly mastered all of these, his photos were simply superb. However, the one crucial lesson he hadn't mastered was, when photography was appreciated and when it wasn't.

'Damn.' Roy thought, tilting his head to the side in order to better look at the picture, 'How the hell did he get that shot!' The Flame Alchemist looked up to find his young lover advancing menacingly upon said photographer shouting some very inventive things at him.

"HUGHES YOU DAMN PEEPING TOM! GIVE ME THAT FUCKING BASTARD CAMERA RIGHT NOW!"

"Edward, my dear boy, there's no need for that kind of language. I wasn't even aware that cameras could be bastards." Maes said, clutching his camera tightly while backing slowly away from the irate blonde.

"I suggest you start running now Maes." Roy calmly suggested, seeing the truly demonic look in Ed's eyes. "Fullmetal, try not to hurt him too badly. It'll cause a lot of unnecessary paperwork."

"HUGHES I SWEAR IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME THAT FUCKING CAMERA I'LL TRANSMUTE YOU INTO A KITTEN AND SICK AL ON YOU!"

At this threat, the Lt. Colonel emitted a small 'eep' before running from Edward like Satan incarnate was after him, still clutching his camera for dear life.

'Yes,' Roy thought to himself, 'this is definitely a photography lesson Maes Hughes learned the hard way' before burning the pictures with a snap of his fingers and helping Edward out in his chase.
