Free fic to the person who guesses the reference to watermelons!!

6:30: Awoken by overly cheerful little birdies chirping outside my overly bright window. Never mind the sake jugs stacked in the corner, what the hell is Kuchiki Byakuya doing in my bed?

07:00: Sake for breakfast. Nothing like fresh sake to remove the taste of last night's sake, for which I still can't account for. Mustn't get drunk today, my squad will never forgive me, particularly after last week's incident with Mayuri.

08:45: Had to see Unohana for urgent healing of broken nose. Greeting of my kawaii little Nanao-chan resulted in sake jug to the face. I assume it had something to do with my breakfast, although why watermelons would make her react like that is beyond me. I suspect that I am still hungover.

10:00: More sake! I considered harassing Nanao-chan today, but I'm still feeling a little… fragile. Aside from that, she keeps glaring at my sake jug, and this one is still full. Have also realized that I have run out of rose petals, and will need to get some more.

10:30: Harassment of Jyuu-chan instead. Was a little concerned when he threatened to tell Byakuya about last night, especially since I can't remember a thing. I couldn't have been that drunk, but Jyuushirou keeps sniggering at me, and Byakuya is avoiding me. Something is deeply wrong here. Just wish I knew what…

12:30: I should have stayed in bed today. Little trip to the living world resulted in mad chase through streets in hot pursuit of a hollow. It feels like a Thursday. Two souls purified, a hollow slaying, and to top it off, I forgot the rose petals. I should have sent Nanao-chan instead.

1:00: lunch at the top of the Shrine of Penitence. Have opted to leave the sake in my office, and am drinking tea instead. Unohana offered me something green and dangerous for the headache I appear to be cultivating, but I declined. I've seen the medication she gives Jyuu-chan.

3:46: Reports, reports, reports. I love working on reports. Good thing I have plenty of sake to get me through the rest of the afternoon.

4:00: snuck out of the office to go drinking in Rukongai. Was surprised to see Rukia-chan there, and even more surprised that she can drink more than I can. We should go drinking together, the results could be interesting.

4:10: Hounded back to the office by Nanao-chan. Her shunpo is faster than I thought. Then again, she is my fukutaichou.

6:00: Dinner with Jyuu-chan. No sake, which surprised him until I told him I thought it was Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays…
