-You Left Me But You're Not Gone-
Sitting on the beach and looking out to the sunset I start to think of you. Your smile, your eyes, and your voice. As I get up and walk closer to the water I hear your voice saying "Never let go." I whisper "I'll never let go." As though you were listening to what I was saying.
As I get closer I see your beautiful blue eyes, more blue than the ocean in front of me. I stand there for a moment and picture you standing in front of me with your hair falling in your face.
It's almost like I can touch you, like your actually here with me, but when I open my eyes you're gone. I walk into the water and let the warm waves crash over my feet. I feel calm but at the same time sad knowing you're not with me. That you're gone and you won't come back.
I lay in the waves on my back and look up at the sky hoping to see you again. The waves come up to my waist. I close my eyes again. I'm back with you on the bow of the ship. I feel like I'm flying. And then I hear you whisper into my ear "Come Josephine in my flying machine, going up she goes, up she goes..."
I open my eyes and look to my left...you're standing there looking down at me with a smile on your face. You hold out your hand and I take it as you pull me up out of the water. We're standing face to face. You put your hand on my cheek and kiss me gently and slowly. I wrap my arms around your waist and pull you closer. You pull away from me taking both of my hands in yours "Never let go, Rose." You say to me. I nod, "I will never let go." I say.
You let go of my hands and back away slowly. I close my eyes once more and hope that when I open them you'll still be here. As I open my eyes you're not there you're gone again. I hear you say "I will never let you go." I smile and realize you may have left me but you're not gone...you are still here with me forever in my heart.
Well here's a one-shot from Rose's perspective. Sorry for not updating "It Wasn't Supposed To Be This Way" but I just got some thing on my mind which keeps me from writing it and the fact I can't force myself to write a chapter because I go completely brain dead when I try to and it just don't work out. So just for a little while I'll write some one-shots (which will more than likely be really short like this maybe a bit longer but not much).
