Axel loved the mall, almost a little too much but he never cared what people thought of him anyway. His favorite store in the mall was Hot Topic (no surprise), he probably spent over half of his time at the mall there.
His best friend, Demyx, worked there and would always give Axel a discount. Normally he went there just for window shopping but he would always but something small, as to not waste anyone's time. Today though, he went in with a very specific reason instead of the random shopping that he normally did.
"Axel! What's up man?" Demyx came up behind him and slapped his shoulder. Axel grinned at him.
"Hey Demyx I can't really talk today, it's Roxas' and mines anniversary and I'm doing some last minute shopping." Axel continued walking, Demyx following like a puppy.
"Ooooooo can I help?" he asked
"Ya you can, you know what Roxas likes".
About an hour later Demyx and Axel showed each other what they found. Demyx had found a shirt with Gir's moose on it (Gir as in from Invader Zim) and the moose was saying, 'I'm a moose'. Axel had found a pair of black and white checkered shoes, and they were vans, Roxas' favorite brand of shoes too. So with his haul, Axel went home to Roxas.

When Axel got home Roxas was waiting for him. They spent a wonderful evening together, Roxas cooked dinner and Axel made the dessert, which had to be ice cream so that he wouldn't burn it or the house down. After all that they sat down and exchanges gifts. Roxas went first.
"Axel do you know what came out today?" He had the gift behind his back, blocking it from Axel's view.
"No, what came out?"
From behind his back Roxas produced the new Tokio Hotel Cd. Humanoid. Axel smiled, it was his favorite band and ha had been waiting months for it to come out. He got up from the couch and kissed Roxas.
"Thanks babe." Roxas smiled.
Axel got Roxas' gift, Roxas laughed when he saw the moose shirt and he loved the checkered shoes. Axel put in the Humanoid cd and he and Roxas sat together on the couch listening to the first track: Screamin'.
