1-Disguises and Hellhounds
Brianna fitted the blonde wig over her beautiful black hair. She almost decided to cut it but changed her mind. It would be too much of a change.
Her agent, Dave sighed dramtically, "Really? I thought Bri you would change your mind by now!" He sounded exasperated.
She hated the nickname. Bri. It sounded like buy, and Bri wasn't someone to be bought.
"I just want to get away from it all. Just for one month." She soothed him. Their plan was to have her hidden, say she was kidnapped, and get more publicty. She was going on a trip with his Mom along U.S.A.
"Bri Bri just…rethink about it! Your third album is out and you can make another! Or we have Jessica J. on call for a interview with Bingz Magazine-"
"Dave. You are going to be fine. Take a vacation."
"Sweetie are you ready?" Her Mom asked her. Instead of her usual tight shirt, skinny jeans, and make-up with her short black hair, her Mom was dressed in a light blue sweater, big jeans, and a blonde wig like her daughter. If the papperazi got a hold of them it would be worse than the time Brianna said no to a date with Jason Deebs. She had paid dearly for that with her fans.
"Yeah Mom." In Brianna's opinion her Mother couldn't of looked more perfect. But her Mom and her had different opinions of perfection.
"Where's Heath?" Brianna asked.
"Oh he's out at a dinner with some Sports website moniter." She waved her hand, as if to dismiss the idea but Brianna was stunned. Heath was her Mom's fiance and she could not picture the famous quaterback saying no to her Mom. Her practically waited on her and adored her to no end.
Her Mom was good with marriages. She already had theirs planned, it was next month.
She was going to be the Maid of Honor.
Brianna smiled at the memory of picking out her dress and walked with her Mom. She waved at Dave before getting in the RV. She closed the door behind her and froze.
"Mom what's that?" She asked.
A huge dog was coming at them. It almost looked like a poodle…then a labordor….
No it had to be a trick of the light.
It's shape wasn't wavering.
Or was it?
Her Mom froze too and then whispered, "I think it's a rabid dog. Lock the door sweetie."
Brianna locked the door and then the dog's form wavered again. It was dark blue color. Brianna gulped.
Her Mom went through her purse and pulled out her phone. She dialed 9-1-1 just as the dog leaped at the windshield.
The windshield that was good for protecting against missles(Family Favor) cracked on the sides.
"Hello this is the Police Station can we help you?"
"There is a DOG attacking my CAR! I think it's rabid!"
"And how big is this dog?" The dispatcher asked, amused.
"Huge! Send help it's cracking the windshield! We're in the CAR!" She could hear the person on the phone gasp and ask, "Okay where are you?"
The car roared to life and her Mom started driving, "Along Baker Circle, on the east side!" Her Mom said hurriedly. She bit her lip and drove. The dog raced after them.
Her Mom shut the phone and clung on to the steering wheel. Brianna turned around to see Dave shooting at the dog.
But that wasn't the surprising thing.
The surprising thing was that the bullets just passed through it.
