"Who are you?" Hana asked.

"I do not posses a name. I am called in different names but I do not have one."

"..."

"Child, I will give you a choice. A choice that would change everything for you and your beloved. On the contrary to what the majority thinks, demons and angels alike are not born from a body but are made. I have the power to grant you a life of a demon but you must take caution that if you are to be a demon, all your humanity will be shred and you will belong amongst your demon brothers and sisters in the underworld. Are you willing to shred humanity in order to be a creature of the dark and live on for eternity?"

"Yes." Came the immediate reply.

"Once you are turned, you must know that there is no turning back. You will become a full pledge demon, unable to touch flowers or die."

"Yes." She would never change her mind.

"I hereby grant you the gift of eternal life."

...

"HANA!" Vivi yelled desperately into the night, desperate to get his beloved inside his protective arms.

Suddenly, a blinding light appeared in front of him and in the midst of it was a silhouette of a woman with wings of a bat.

Hana. Vivi thought. No need to see a face. He would know that Hana is Hana even if she is to turn into a grain of sand.

The light disappeared and there came a different person. She still wore the same clothes and had the same face but inside she was different. No longer is she a fragile, short-lived and bright flower, she had turned into something more darker.

The wings on her back was dead give away. Hana turned into a demon.

"Hana... what?" he stood dumbfounded.

Hana hovered towards him, her features illuminated by the bright shining moon hanging on the starry sky. She cupped his cheeks with her long, slender fingers and locked her eyes with his. Beautiful. The man thought.

"Vivi, from now on we will be together forever! Truly!" Hana said as tears stained her pale cheeks. She was happy that she's granted an eternal life, yet in exchange for her humanity. She's immortal now and could live forever with her dearly beloved and nothing is more important than that.

Hi! I know it's really short but it satisfied me so yeah.. :)) This story wasn't meant to be a fanfiction to begin with. When I finished the manga my heart was so broken that I couldn't stop crying so I decided to vent out all my sadness and wrote this short story where Hana became immortal.

I didn't plan on publishing this but I thought that it wouldn't hurt to share. Also if there are people like me who had their hearts shatter to pieces, I would like them to recover from such pain so I decided to share it!

I hope you liked it :D thank you so much for reading!
