As we fly back to the caves, I look around me seeing Fang and noticing that he is watching me, smiling. I smile back at him as I tuck my wings in and dive down to the caves, searching for another opening. I feel light as I drop down without a thud, and I walk around on top of the caves, till I hear Dylan shout, "Come here guys! I found an opening!"

My heart beats fast, hoping the others are OK. We gather around the opening, then with all our might, we open it. The time of cheers and tears are a blur as I race to Nudge, Gazzy, and Iggy, holding my arms out wide. But I have no more tears left to spare as we all hug. I watch their faces as they cry, and I smile lightly, then fang comes up to me, he smiles his famous Fang smile, and kisses me. We don't care if others are watching, we kiss until I feel a tap on my shoulder. I stop and turn around quickly and see my mom, she is all dirty and I look down at my shirt and pants, noticing I look the same. I look back up and hug her tightly, then I hear her whisper, "I love you Maximum." I smile even though she can't see me, and I turn my head and whisper, "I love you too mom."

Even though that meeting was heartwarming, I immediately think about finding a place to stay, or rebuilding the awesome tree houses.

I shudder as I hear the voice, even though I'm used to it.

Even though you didn't listen to me, it all worked out fine.

I have a question for you voice. I chuckle and reply back, who are you really?

I'm Angel, I told you before. I heard it again, then noticed it wasn't in my mind. I turn to my right and I saw Angel there with a smile on her face. I pick her up and hug her tightly, "Now, no more putting thoughts into my head," I smile at her, "it's time to go home." I knew she understood what I meant. Home wasn't these tree houses, it was back in Colorado, the house that had been burnt down then rebuilt.

I snap my wings out and float above everyone, leaning my head down so I don't hit it on the top. I clap my hands together, "Alright everyone, the heartwarming meeting was nice," I look around the room and see puffy eyes, "We don't wanna stay here all day. We should go and find homes. Unless some of you guys would like to stay, I mean it may be comfortable for some." I hear light chuckles and I smile, "It is time that we can go and do whatever we want now. It's over, it's all over and done." I float back down slowly as I hear people talking.

I begin to walk out as I hear my mom's voice behind me. I stop and turn, she walks towards me with Pierpont beside her. She smiles then says, "You guys can go wherever you want, we are going to rebuild the treehouses for the others to stay in, or if some want, we are going to fly them out to different places."

"OK mom," I smile at her, "We are going back to Colorado. I can't bear to stay here any longer." She nods as we hug again, then I take my wings out and fly out of the cave, waiting for the others. They fly out one by one, I greet them with a smile then we hover in a circle.

"Where are we going to go now?" I hear Dylan's voice and accept that he is with us now, another one of the flock.

"We are going back to Colorado." I say and hear small cheers then see Iggy hold his hand out for a high five. We all laugh and high five him as he has a big grin on his face.

I turn and wave to the caves as the circle starts to break. I see some heads turn towards me and I see my mom wave back along with a couple others. I smile then start to fly to our home. I wonder if we can go back to our normal lives after this, even though we don't actually have normal lives.
