Hi guys! I'm completely new to this but I have been in love with SVU fanfics for about 2 years. This is my first fanfic so reviews and critics are encouraged and really appreciated. Enjoy!

Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler were sitting in the lounge eating Chinese as they did pretty much every night. While they were eating Olivia noticed a very awkward silence between the two of them. She knew better than to him directly what was going on so she tried her best to ignore it. After 15 minutes Olivia couldn't take it anymore and needed answers as to why he was so quiet. So after a few minutes of mental debating she spoke up.

"El what's going on, you're usually never this quiet?" Elliot looked up at her with a face as if he were ready to kill.

"Nothing Olivia, now would you please just leave me alone!" he snapped at and stood leaving her confused, shocked, and now really concerned. After the initial shock wore off she ran after him waning to know what was going on.

"Elliot are you ok? What's going on with you lately?" Olivia said chasing after him.

"Nothing Olivia now I'm telling you to leave me the hell alone!" he screamed making Olivia jump.

He turned on his heel and walked down the stairs then out the door. Olivia ran down the stairs and straight to Cragen's office. She stood and knocked in the door waiting for a response. When she heard one she walked in and sat in one of the chairs in front of his desk after closing the door behind her. After a few moments of silence and furious writing Cragen looked up at Olivia.

"What's wrong Olivia? You look worried and shaken up." Cragen said with his voice oozing with concern.

"It's Elliot, he won't talk to me and he just yelled at me to leave him the hell alone." Olivia said

"That doesn't sound like him. You two are pretty much inseparable." He said

"Yea I know that's why I'm worried." Olivia said

Just then they heard a commotion outside, so they both stood up and ran out of the small, packed office. As soon as Olivia stepped out of the door she felt her entire environment change. And not in a good way. She didn't even have to look at Cragen's expression to know someone wasn't going to make it out of this one alive. The scene in front of her was horrifying but it wasn't unimaginable for her. In the middle of the squadroom stood Elliot's wife Kathy Stabler holding a gun to Fin's head. Fin looked into Olivia's eyes with sheer terror knowing that Kathy was very unstable. Olivia just looked at him with a face that was unreadable. With his eyes pleading Fin just kept looking into her eyes, as if he were searching for hope.
