AN: Not Suzanne Collins
I was in the arena again. Kids were turning on each other left and right. Blood was everywhere. The smell was absolutely nauseating. My stomach heaved automatically and I clamped a hand over my mouth. How the Capitol could force us into this I had no idea. My fellow tributes head was sliced cleanly off and blood splattered the ground. Screams were echoing around me. I crushed my hands against my ears keeping my eyes shut. Please let it not be real. Please.
I opened my eyes and almost gasped in shock. People were sitting around a cafeteria eating food and talking with each other. How had I gotten here? Finnick was sitting next to me and casually slipped his arm around my waist and leaned close to me. He was talking to a girl with braided hair who looked dazed and tired and a boy with deadly dark eyes.
"Oh Peeta don't make me sorry I restarted your heart." He said standing up and pulling me with him. He casually led me out the doors. As soon as they shut he pulled me close.
"Annie, your not in the arena your okay. I'll keep you safe no matter what." I looked up slowly into his gorgeous green eyes. "I love you."
I was still dazed but I knew in that moment what was real and what wasn't. "I love you too."
