Why wont you talk to me?
Why do you avoid me?
All I think about is you
Unreturned calls, no communication, and locked doors
Don't you see how much I miss you!
Just this time last year we talked every night
My cutting slowed until I thought it was over
My scars were heeled
Almost until I slight my wrist tonight
I knew what you were doing
We were friends
But now,
Now we haven't talked in months
I didn't even spend your birthday with you
What did I do to make you hate me?
Which argument finally ended us?
I love you
Or at least I think I do
I don't know anymore
All I know is I miss you
Misaki finished reading the note the cop had just handed to him. He didn't have to reread it to know whom Saruhiko was talking about. He already knew it was for him.
Misaki looked back to the two officers standing at his door. When they had knocked he had thought it was to finally arrest him. He nodded thanks before shutting the door to them before he broke down in tears, wishing he had been right.
He reread the note regretting everything that he had done to Saruhiko in the past few months. Regretted not returning his calls, and wished he could clearly see his face. If only he had returned his phone calls. Told him it was okay and he was just busy not mad. He hated himself so much at the moment.
When he flipped the note over, and saw his name written in blood, he finally broke. Leaning against the door he grasped the letter to his heart sobbing. When his voice was gone he picked himself up, continuing to cry, and went to the kitchen. He got a pen and wrote,
I haven't know what to say to you
I have been afraid of what you'd say to me
All I think about is you
I couldn't stand you looking at me with hate
I've missed you too
Just this time last year I fell in love with you
I saw how beautiful you really were
Behind the scars of everyone else
I didn't know if you could accept me
We were friends
But what if,
What if I told you how I really was?
Could you still smile at me?
What if you hated me?
Would we have even had an argument?
I love you
I know I do
I've missed you too
The cop looked at the teen on the floor lying next to a piece of paper. Picking it up he figured it was a suicide note. Upon seeing the different handwriting and the two names written in blood he realizes it was a confession. Shaking his head he knows it wont even be released to the public. Just another life lost to fear.
