"If you want to" missing scene
Missing scene from "If you want to". Weeks before the Invasion Dib and Zim have something else on their minds: graduation. For just a few hours they forget the impending doom and only think of each other
A/N Okay so here's the deal. This was one of the random chapters for "If you want to" that I wrote when I had MAJOR writers block on one of the chapters. The problem was I saved it under a weird name and forgot completely about it. This chapter was supposed to go in-between chapters 13 and 14. I wrote this chapter because in the beginning of the story I needed to have the boys in high school but by the end because of Zag I wanted Dib to be out of high school. So here you go
Dib looked in the mirror he was wearing black tux pants a black tux shirt and his trench coat. He looked in the mirror once more and adjusted his glasses.
Zim slipped into the room he was wearing an outfit like he normally did except it was dark purple and when Dib saw him he wouldn't help but smirk "What?" Zim asked.
"Its just no offence Zim but you look REALLY gay I mean literally." Dib replied
Zim didn't care. "No such word in my vocabulary. These are my ceremonial robes anyways. It was a choice between red and purple and-" he stopped and looked down. His antennas drooped down slightly when realized what he said. He had been avoiding saying Red and Purple because he reminded him of the impending doom.
Dib wrapped his arms softly around Zim and said, "Hey its gonna be okay. The Swollen Eyeballs already have a army ready were going to beat them." Zim looked up at Dib. "It will be okay I promise lets just have some fun tonight were graduating. Skool is going to be over. We never have to see those stupid kids anymore. I promise"
Zim smiled and Dib "Come on Anookie lets go have some fun."

Zim held Dibs hand though the introduction and the first few speeches. Then Ms. Wood, the principal, stood up and said; "Now we shall hear from of valedictorian Dib"
There was some polite applause and Dib stood up and walked to podium. He looked around at all the faces. "Many people say hi Skool is hell others say it's the best years of your life" he started. "For me it has been both. I look out at all the faces out there and there is one that I wish more then anything. More then anything I wish I could look out there and see the face of my sister Gaz and my mother Ali looking back at me. Even though my sister and my mother are not here to day I have someone else. In someone I though I hated I found love. Hi Skool has been a roller coaster ride for me. It's been that way for all of us, but the important thing is we made it. Congrats everyone."
Dib stepped back and walked back to his seat. Zim took his shaking hand and smiled. They sat and watched as one of the other classes walked across the stage. Then they heard "Miss Bitters class." They stood up with the rest of their class.
"Staci, Lisa, Josh, Tex," Name by name their classmates walked across stage. "Dib" Dib looked over at Zim he let go of his lover's hand and slowly walked onto the stage. As Ms. Wood handed Dib his diploma she said, "Powerful speech it even made me cry."
Dib smiled. After Zim got his diploma Ms. Wood said, "I now present our graduated class of 2037"
The class threw their caps up in the air. Dib had a huge grin on his face, Zim kissed him softly. "We are no longer students Anookie" he said.
"I know I am so happy. Anookie Zim."
"Anookie my Dib. Anookie forever"
