This was inspired by Aqua's song 'Barbie Girl'. I hope you enjoy!-JasZ

To the world she's just another beautiful blond. They assume she's living the high life. Being pampered beyond repair; surrounded by men and money. Always getting what everyone wants.

What they don't know is that she's like the doll. She's under someone's thumb. Whether it's time… Adapting to styling her hair and changing her clothing to the current fashion. Or it's her brother who drives a dagger into her heart. Taking her where-ever he goes in a box; like casing to protect her from grabby hands.

When unleashed she's told what to do. She no longer walks because she wants to. The reason she walks is because her brother has measured the step she to take. No matter how much she begs on her hands and knees. They do with her as they please. As if they were up on the silver screen and they are the ones acting out a scene.

But unlike the doll she's unable to explore and become someone than who she already is. She's become a shell of the woman she used to be. Barbie has ken, the love of her life, and has explored many careers. Rebekah once had Marcel at her side… How she wishes for him to be there. Her love of many years and the one that understands the strings that make her move.

She doesn't live a fantastic life… she doesn't have Marcel at her side…. Parties are a waste of time that consumes her fleeting heart. The painted smile; slowly fading from her rosy lips. That lifeless doll has more freedom then the Original will ever get in her long life…. She can't even be compared to Barbie… even if they share similar features….

There you have it. How this one-shot even came up was all thanks to Post-Modern Jukebox's cover to Aqua's Barbie girl. They make the best covers! anyhoo I hope you enjoyed it... I swear i'll try to update 'I Loved Her First' tomorrow. -JasZ
