Turtles are about six years old.
Disclaimer: I don't own the TMNT
Boredom
His face was red, going on purple, white splotches were forming rapidly, and still he stayed in that position. On his head. He didn't notice, he wasn't concentrating on that, he was concentrating on the cartoons showing on the television Donny had fixed up.
"Hey Leo" he heard his little bother, Mikey's voice, but didn't respond.
"Leeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooooo!" his brother attempted to get his attention. Leo pushed his weight into the back of the couch to hold himself up and grabbed the remote, turning the volume up to drown out Mikey's voice.
"Heelloooooooo Leeeooooo! Anyone in there?" Mikey stood in front of Leo, blocking the TV, and tapping his head. Leo growled and Mikey took a step back, still in the way of the TV.
Leo picked up the nearest object - a book - and threw it at Mikey. Mikey dodged it and gasped.
"Leo! Splin'er says we have ta take care a books!"
Leo wriggled over on the couch, still on his head, so that he could see past Mikey and watch the cartoon. Mikey moved so that he was in the way again. Leo reached out and smacked him.
"Ow! Leo, stop chuckin' a Raph!" Mikey whined.
At the sound of his name, Raph appeared.
"Raphie..." Mikey began as Raph drew closer, but Raph, seeing the scene, ignored his baby brother. The turtle jumped onto the couch and flipped into the same position as Leo, growling at Mikey to get out of the way. Mikey's jaw dropped but he stayed where he was.
"Donny!" he called his other brother. Don came out and looked at the TV.
Just as Mikey opened his mouth to talk, Donny came running. "Make room for me!" he cried as he jumped over the back of the couch and took the same position of his brothers. Mikey's eyes nearly popped out of his head.
"D-Donny?" Mikey asked, but was immediately shushed by all three of his brothers. Tears came to his eyes. "B-but... SENSEI!!"
Splinter emerged to find the problem and Mikey tearfully explained the dilemma. How Leo was ignoring him, and Raphie, and Donny, and they were all being mean if he got in the way. And he didn't want to watch that show!
Splinter looked at him for a second. "If you have no interest in joining your brothers, and have nothing else to do, you could out in some extra training" Splinter suggested.
Mikey's face portrayed sheer horror, as Splinter had expected. He gave a chuckle as Mikey jumped up with his brothers.
"I was just saying that they wouldn't make room for me!" he lied, copying his brothers' positions.
Splinter chuckled again as he walked away. Michelangelo wouldn't last five minutes watching that cartoon.
He was right. Five minutes later he found his youngest son rolling all over the floor in his and Leo's room, all by himself.
THE END
