A/N: I've read the dictionary front-to-back and back-to-front, I think that now I can create a decent Christmas poem, now let's see what to write about… Ah ha! I know!
Disclaimer: I do not own Jack Skellington, or the events which happened in the Nightmare Before Christmas, I don't own the characters either, and Hayley owns Sadie Skellington/Sprit, Karla own Jake and Jess Skellington.
Claimer: I own this poem, Molly Skellington, and any events that did NOT happen in TNBC.
Oh and before I forget the 'snake' I'm talking about, it's really talking about a plot snake, yep a plot snake, much bigger then bunnies. Yeah..
Sadie Skellington was a nice young girl,
But every Halloween she lost her cool,
She claimed candy made her hurl,
And on that day she always skipped school.
But that is a tale for a much longer story,
Written by my good friend Hayley,
Molly is who were talking about, you don't have to worry
My story involves a snake most scaly;
Although I may not be the best at rhyming,
Wait a moment what does this have to do with Molly?
I've always had inescapable timing,
Halloween Town was just hanging up the holly-
"Molly, could you come here? Oh Molly?"
Cried Sally, her mother,
Jake was in her room, touching her stuff,
"Can you come help me with your little brother?"
Molly was furious and inside she knew it,
This was enough,
"Jake!" she screamed "You really just blew it!"
In her room Sadie quietly unaware of the batter,
When her sister stormed in scanning the room,
She got up from her chair and asked "What's the matter?"
Molly thought and quietly said "It's gloom,"
Sadie blinked she couldn't of heard her sister right,
Molly began,
"It all happened that one Christmas night,"
Jack just ran, and ran,
"Sandy Claws."
He muttered to himself,
Captured by those three little whelps,
"Lock, Shock, and Barrel."
He said with a hint of remorse,
And screamed in their faces 'til his voice became hoarse,
He managed to save Sally and Sandy Claws too,
Leaving Oogie Boogie as a pile of goo;
From that Christmas on, Halloween Town was happy,
And Molly, yes Molly almost never got sappy,
She was born on the first Christmas that Halloween Town had,
From that day she always tried to please her Dad;
But this year was different,
Gone was the Christmas Molly, who was efficient,
She gave it all up for some Holiday funk,
Some people rumored that she was a drunk,
'This is insane' she always would say,
'I'm underage for drinking, this isn't the way!'
"I just don't like Christmas,"
She told her listening sister,
"It's right on my birthday!"
"That isn't right!" Sadie screamed to the mister,
Whose fault it actually was for all this chaos,
Into the room walked the responsible sister,
Jess was her name,
"Although not any of this is exactly the same,
We should be happy our birthdays are shared,
Please don't get angry or scared,
Wait until I'm done,
Everyone gets his or her own birthdate,
But doesn't sharing the day make it all worth it?
Sadie, you share with Halloween,
The importance of that still is seen;
Molly, oh Molly you silly fool,
You're birthday is on Christmas not so your Dad's tool,
It's so you know the meaning of Christmas,
Not so you can be mopey and listless,
Can't you all see the clear moral?
Holidays aren't times to quarrel!
There times for giving and receiving love,
And it's all planned from the big guy up above."
"You mean the Easter Bunny??"
Asked young Jake,
"No, it's Santa Clause, he's making sure your good,
For goodness sake."
A/N: Like it? Please review, I'd really like to see what people think of my poems.
